i believe in God, there is just one problem and that's that i believe God to be in my heart. i don't believe in religion per say. i don't follow any single type of religion as i think religion is just like a sales person trying to pitch you a product. its just a product in my opinion. i have God in my heart and that is all i need. i do believe there is a higher power but the only way to really get in touch with God is to look deep inside of yourself. not by following religion as a whole. plus it makes me much happier like this. i don't know if anyone understands what i just posted as its pretty confusing to me as well :D
I tend to agree with your comments regarding organised religion. You know Korea, and its my perception that some of the Christian churches here are a scam. I have an American Christian friend who was shocked at the amount of money the congregation were handing over at one of the gatherings. Apparently its quite lucrative to be a priest here. I suppose I don't. But it would depend on your definition of god. If someone was to say that god is a metaphor for life. Then I would have to agree that there is a prescence of god. Personally I don't believe in religion at all, it has bought us nothing but war and to be honest a lot of time of peoples lives wasted in churches in my view. Not to mention the amount of money which some of these organisations have (the catholic church). I do believe there are things out there which we can not explain however, which may mean there is a god, but it sure in hell isn't with the current religions we have. Many of the so called saviours/prophets/gods have followed the sun's life and are hence pagan without many people realising it, most famous of all is Jesus.
