The sniper scene in Full Metal Jacket where what turns out to be a young Vietnamese girl picks the soldiers apart, slowly. :( Bullets impacting, blood flying, men screaming.

Reality trumps Hollywood every time. Watching TV footage of people getting the living shit beat out of them by howling mobs during the LA riots did a number on me.
