Benn always said he wanted RJJ & thought that RJJ would prob beat him but said that he would be so up for that fight, it would of been a dream fight. Collins said he wanted to go to florida & knock on RJJ door for a fight. Eubank in his prime & mentally motivated beats RJJ.
Admitedly I've only seen the interview once, when it happened, so maybe my impression of Eubank being scared could be wrong, it was many, many years ago. That's just how I remember it.
I heard that Benn wanted to fight RJJ, dunno if it was bluster or not, but for some reason it never happened. Collins I do agree with you thou, don't think he would've ducked RJJ.
Still can't see Eubank beating him thou. But it's one of those things we'll never know for sure.

He probably did miss out on some good fights with those guys, thou I think he would have beaten them all. Benn might've put up an excellent show and that would've been a cracking fight. He was too good for Eubank, and Collins would maybe have been bullied a bit with RJJ's bigger natural size and strength.
I've no doubt RJJ, would've fought them if matches could be made, doubt few of those guys would be keen thou (maybe Collins), unless the money was huge.
I remember watching the Jonathan Ross show around the time all the Brits were fighting each other. Benn and Eubank were in the studio and then he put up a video link to James Toney (who was immense around this time, and IBF champion If I remember). Toney then called them cowards for not fighting him and then said exactly what he would do to them. Benn muttered something like 'idiot' and 'fool' to Toney. Eubank didn't say a word and was visibly shaken, and actualy looked confused and scared. Not long after that RJJ destroyed Toney, I doubt any of those 2 would've liked to step into the ring with him, they were happy making enough money just fighting each other and also the likes of Watson and Collins. IMO RJJ would've beaten them all, with a bit to spare.

I believe the match with Benn was there to be made and Imo,Jones wanted nothing to do with him in a couple of ways.....he was making out big on HBO with less risk.Benn also stated that he may be hit 10 to 1 but it would never equal McClellan's shots.Would have been a pretty nice dust up while it lasted. On paper,A prime Jones just might have popped him all night but would have loved to see Roy take one on the chin and wonder.
