I think Vic has a good chance v Donaire. He was careless in first fight, it happens. I thiink he was getting on top at the time of the KO, and this led to his lack of defense. Darch has his faults no doubt but kinda annoys me how no one really gave him a chance against Mijares, yet when he KO's him Mijares wasnt that good anyway...
Im not saying your the worst for this at all, u have many good points, but i think some others should give Vic more credit than he is getting. Sure Vic talks shit, always has, but he just KTFO a ring top 10 P4P guy. Dont happen that often.
I mean if a more popular fighter did the same, say Arce for example, he'd get tonnes more credit.
Well first I do not remember saying or could you show me anywhere did I ever say "Majares was not that good anyway"....
Second a puncher like Vic always has a chance...Hell Tyson had a "Chance" against Lewis but did anyone who knows anything really think he would win from punching power alone?
I just do not think that the win over Majares puts him in the P4P list...
I remember a thread not long ago where we spoke of the P4P list and I stated clearly that I do not think that just because a fighter holds 1 win over a P4P fighter that they deserve to be put on the P4P list..
There is a difference...
I also still believe that Doniare over all is a better fighter then Vic....
Lets put it this way...Darchinyan other then a mention here or there has not pushed for a rematch with Doniare...and Doniare has stated several times he would sign in a second...
Vic chose to move on on weight...so what does that tell you?

So because Vic beat Majares the guys who were at 11,12,13 ahead of Vic before the fight should be pushed back?
Rafael Marquez, Chris John, Nate Campbell, Alexander Munoz....All drop in position because of the win for Vic?......
Please explain
Re: Vic Darchiniyan =#1 p4p
mijares had an off night because he's way over his head.u just cant slack off against a puncher.thats the only way darchinyans gonna win and he let him implement his style.since he got KD he cant find his rhythim.plus he aint a puncher.THERE'S NO WAY A TACTICIAN COULD WIN IF HE AINT GOT TACTICS!i mean i just watched the donaire fight again and i saw how cautious nonito was.he got his gameplan and his gameface that night.something missing from mijares.and to answer the question,,hes not #1 to me.but i think he deserves to be in the top 15

I think i may have not said what i meant to. I wasnt accusing u of being one of the guys that said Mijares wasnt good, i was mainly saying that i feel ure wrong to say that a Donaire Vic rematch would just go the same way. Yes Donaire Ko'd Vic, but what has he done since to prove that he has improved and that the KO of Vic wasnt maybe a bit lucky? I mean he landed the perfect shot that night, but he hasnt beaten another top guy to prove he can do it consistently. Not to say he wont.
Maldonado and Mthalane are nowhere near the opponents Vic has been fighting and beating. They arent in the same league as Gorres, Mijares and Kirilov.
Dont be offended by what i say, i agree with a lot of what u said. Vic dont really stand a chance against the top guys at superbantam. He relies on his power and at 122 he'd be outgunned.
To say Vic went up a division cos he was scared is a bit rough. Gorres In the Phillipines, Kirilov, and then Mijares are hardly the opponents of a guy who is scared. Now he is calling Donaire out. Vic did the right thing. Got beat, learned from it, got better, then when confidence is back calls out the guy who beat him. Nothing wrong with that.

No offense at all...I may have worded the moved up in weight part a bit off...Not so much as scared...(Personally I do not believe any fighter is afraid to fight another even if they lost to them before...any fighter worth his weight I should say).......But deciding to conquer other ventures rather then risk it again is a difference...
In short...Vic felt it was not worth the risk when there was more to gain at a higher weight
Re: Vic Darchiniyan =#1 p4p
I don't see what Nonito did as a fluke because at least to me he was winning the fight and he had already stunned Vic before the KO.
Not saying its out of the question that Vic could win a rematch, he did some things against Mijares that he would be smart to do against Donaire but I'd probably still pick Nonito.

I think Mthalane could give real problems to Gorres, Mijares, Kirilov and even Vic...

Im not saying he should be put in there, im asking why its rediculous to think of having vic in the top 10? It wouldnt matter who vic knocked out, everyone would keep on saying he shouldnt be in the p4p list. I dont think he should go in over the other guys but i think another big win would put him there for sure.

1. Vic Darchinyan impressive win, against a guy noone gave him a shot at. Knocked out a top 10 p4p guy give it up for Vic. Noone fights that awkwardly. He will get revenge on Donaire. That was a lucky punch along the lines of Tzu vs Judah or Jones -Tarver. We need the rematch to prove that fluke. Thanks Vic for turning my $150 into $340 :)
2. Paul Williams - Noone will fight this man. He obviously got complacent against quintana but he erased that mistake. This man will be the best fighter of our generation, he just needs some marketing behind him. We all know y noone will fight this man - fear. This man would destroy Cotto or Mayweather. I'd bet the house on that.
3. Chad Dawson - Guys a superstar in the making how he handled a legend like Tarver. I was really impressed and I know he'd beat Calzaghe if they ever fought. Calzaghe dont want any of this though.
4. Bernard Hopkins- the man just solidifed y hes a living legend. Who beats a prime superstar like Pavlik at 43 years old. Joe needs to give this man a rematch
5. Tie between paquiou and Calzaghe. - They're 2 very good fighters but have both fought old opposition to pad they're resumes. Calslappy wont get by Jones next weekend. I've got $500 on a Roy Jones win to win over $1200. Roys going to be focused on the task whip that overrated Calslappy.
You dont have a house you live in a mental hospital.
BIG respect for writing this thread wearing a straight jacket tho :)
