True but he always had an issue with sweat pea when he was fighting latino fighters.

I mean this guy was for years defending his title and the list of his opponents is horrible for a title holder.
CutMeMick,
There are many Asian fighters that go through the same and I hate it. When I was finishing college in Japan I remember Mexicans coming over to fight and sitting down with my friends. After every fight they would go "Oh, we thought Mexico was good in boxing but they always loose against us...". I would keep asking myself why bigger Mexican names didn't come to Japan or why didn't Japanese go fight in Las Vegas against REAL Mexican opponents.
Mike Tyson being sent to jail for "rape". Ok, many people will think the Desiree Washington (was that her name?) was a complete innocent little victim. I mean, when it comes to rape, people automatically assume the girl is saying the truth. But, what is a girl doing walking up to a guy's suite at the late hours of the night with a skimpee negligee, bottle of champagne in the room, they made out and even had foreplay, etc. Even if the girl was riding Tyson as if there was no tomorrow if she even whispered the word "No", she technically wins the case?! That girl had dollar signs on her eyes as she walked to his suite. If he didn't go to jail we would have seen a prime Tyson vs Holyfield and prime Tyson vs Lewis, which I think would have been a different outcome than what we saw way after his prime.

3. The boxing commission allowing Tommy Morrison to fight again without more extensive testing from outside medical staff[/quote]
The Morrison fight explains one of the weird things about boxing in a nutshell.
Theres no real overseeing governing body
All you have to do is wait out your suspension, and then you can find a spot that will give you liscence

- Armando Muniz being robbed of the titles when he beat Napoles, scumbag Sulaiman flat out turned and changed the rules right there and then and awarded the win to Napoles.
- When I 1st found out that the Florida commision failed to collect Pryors urine sample for drug testing after the 1st Arguello fight.
- When I 1st found out that Ayala had shot up heroin prioir to his fight vs. Danny Lopez. I was fucken disgusted...
- When I 1st found out about what Panama Lewis did to Restos glove on that tragic night in MSG when Resto fought Collins Jr.
- When they've announced the scorecards in robberies (I genuinely mean robberies, I'm talking about fights that were close and could have gone either way).
Ortiz-Diaz
Santa-Casa
Navarro-Gainer
- I've been offended by PongsaShit WontBoxAnyoneImportantJongkam he is the king of fighting mismatched opponents.

In title fights:
Hayato Asai 16-2
Luis Alberto Lazarte 19-4-1 (Coming off 2 loses and 1 draw)
Jesus Martinez 15-2 (Coming off 2 loses)
Randy Mangubat 37-17-11 (Coming off a loss)
Trash Nakanuma 23-4 (Coming off 2 loses)
Luis Angel Martinez 14-6-2
Noriyuki Komatsu 19-1-5 (Coming off a loss)
Daigo Nakahiro 13-1 (Coming off a loss)
Everardo Morales 27-10-2
Tomonobu Shimizu 10-1
Non title bouts:
PongsaShit 63-2 vs. Lito Sisnorio 10-4-1 (Fight was NOT sanctioned/approved Lito died in his next fight)
PongsaShit 67-3-1 vs. Mohammed Akbar 0-2-0 :o that's just horrible
PongsaShit 66-3-1 vs. Jack Amisa 17-3
PongsaShit 58-2 vs. Isidro Balabat 5-3
James Butler's sucker punch takes the cake. Like others said. He is a scum bag pure and simple.

Jose Alberto Clavero
Pablo Daniel Zamora Nievas
Sam Soliman
Rueben Eduardo Acosta
On Wednesday he'll fight Rafael Sosa Pintos, a guy who'se last two fights were 6 round decision victories. Yep, Mundine is fighting a guy who's last two fight were six rounders.
Of all those fights I'm pleased to say the only one I saw was the Soliman KO. People need to boycott this guy until he fights somebody with a pulse and not. At this stage the only criteria to get a fight with Mundine is that you own a pair of trunks and gloves...
and of course that you are not already contracted to fight Felix Sturm ;)

Mundine just offends me as a boxer, he has done absolutely nothing to get a major deal signed, he is a waste of space! His management team travel the world looking for cab drivers, park bench bums and ice cream salesmen to get in the ring with him. This farce cannot continue much longer and surely by the end of 2009 we will see the end of him and this charade will be over!
The Tyson ear biting offended me as i really feared for the future of boxing that night, boxing cops a lot of flack at the best of times and this was an incident impossible to defend.
Re: A moment in the sport you were actually offended
I get offended that guys who are too tough for their own good (Holyfield) are still allowed to fight just because they can still draw a few bucks, even though they should not be allowed near a ring.
I also get offended when I see a guy like Roy Jones build up a fight like he did in Tarver 3 and Calzaghe and not put up a genuine effort to win the fight.
Re: A moment in the sport you were actually offended
That scumbag Panama Lewis pulling the stuffing out of Luis Resto's gloves and watching him pummell and essentially end Billy Collins' career and life offended me too.
Re: A moment in the sport you were actually offended
-Margarito trying to load up his gloves against Mosley.
-Chavez/Whitaker farcical draw
-Tyson many prefight news conferences, especially for the Lewis one
Re: A moment in the sport you were actually offended
Arum saying it is stupid for Manny, a WW(147) champion of the world AND LMW (154), to "starve" himself to lose a couple of pounds - him being the WW champion that is.
So Cotto (Top Rank) doesn't get the same respect???
What about Margarito?
Or saying Mosley (WW champion at the time) only at 144, then 142, then 140.....
wait that was last year, Manny has "filled" now filled into a WW right?
BUT people are saying that Manny has actually not gained weight since the 2nd Marquez fight he is just not cutting any more. and actually have to make him put on weight...
Arum- Marquez at 147 or NO FIGHT.
These guys are RIDICULOUS.
