Faced with the prospect of a Pacquiao fight he is talking a lot, being far more outspoken and aggressive than usual.
When it was Mayweather he knew he was the underdog and talked very very little.
Interesting.
its cause its personal now, to oscar you can talk about his family bad but when you F him over with money and contracts it makes him more mad. Money is his king sad to say.
Dont ever mess with oscar when it comes to gold.

ODLH knows that Manny isn't a trash talker so he's saying whatever he wants now. When he's confronted by a real trash talker then he simply jumps into the "woe is me", "i'm the good guy", "feel sorry for me role."
Re: Thoughts on De La Hoya Pacquiao 24/7 Episode 2?
I think HBO is doing a great job making both of them seem really personable, making you feel for both of them and want to win. I think they're doing this to add to the drama and help the "average" person feel connected and shell out the money for the PPV.
Re: Thoughts on De La Hoya Pacquiao 24/7 Episode 2?
wow.....if pacman loses this fight badly
there might be a chancethis dude may go broke in afewyears
i mean look at his expenses....lol
Re: Pacquiao/De La Hoya 24/7
A few things...
Oscars a great salesman.
Gotta love Pac singing karaokee.
Not even if ODLH could somehow add Clancy, Futch and Arcel to his corner would he win.
24/7 sure does hype you up and is great.
Bilbos a fag and is bitter and wants everyone to be bitter like him.
Pac has 1 security here in the states and apperantly about 30 in the PIs along with some heave artillary. That is crazy....
The fried catfish sure looked good.
I think none of his friends are wining the money he's put up for the weight loss.
Jinkee (sp) looks tired as fuck and looks like someone who's fed up with all the glits and the cameras around.
It's VERY true how Pac is depicted, he's real serious and quiet but once you get him to talk and smile he's cool.
Freddie said "Fuck Nacho I don't like him, he talked bad about me" last I read Nacho said and I quote "I know I've got the tools to help Oscar win I know his fighter all too well" or did I miss something?
Re: Pacquiao/De La Hoya 24/7
Regarding Pac going broke.... pacman has so many investments that he won't go broke even if he gives 50% of his earnings. I know.... I'm an accountant.

I disagree with all of those opinions guys.
I feel its far more primal.
This is a superfight. A superfight Oscar feels secure in because he is by far the bigger man.
Against mayweather a win was unlikely so he kept his mouth shut.
He now feels supremely confident and in my view is being arrogant as a result.
Make no mistake, Oscar will not be slighted for money. He's not just a fighter, he is the promoter, he will make a LOT of money here.
Re: Pacquiao/De La Hoya 24/7
Just watched Episode 2. I like Oscr but it is dissapointing to see he only talks about the kids he has with Millie and how much he loves them and loves being a father to thembut never mentions his three other kids. From what ive read it sounds like he supports them financially but has nothing else to do with them. And when Millie says if Oscar is a great anything, hes a great father. I wonder if shell feel the same way in 10 years...I would have no problems because im only a fan of Oscar the athlete, but when he puts his family on a documentary and brings his personal life into it, he opens himself up to critisizm.
ODLH/Pacquiao 24/7 is making a star out of...

Buboy, Manny's friend (the guy in the tye-dye behind Manny in the picture above).
I caught yesterday's episode. The family stuff was good to see but again I'm wondering how HBO thinks that any of this stuff is building up a huge fight. Thanksgiving dinner, karoake, seriously? They should have saved the money. It was a decent episode though. Seeing B-Hop was cool, but it's obviously a gimmick. Seeing ODLH saying "I'm pumped up" and "THERE WILL BE A KNOCKOUT" with a serious face made me laugh out loud. I'm thinking this dude has no personality. ODLH's uncle cracked me up when he was talking with ODLH's brother. ODLH's brother said something like "I was just warming up in there" and the uncle was like "yeah, he was warming up the toilet."
But the true star of this 24/7 series is Buboy HAHAHAHAHAHA. This guy cracked me up. He's obviously a good guy but the dude is a clown. When he flashed that two hundred dollars he won from eating and then licked his whole hand, I busted out laughing. It was hilarious when that one guy was giving him a hard time in the gym. At this point, it's obvious that Buboy is the true star of 24/7.

I met Buboy and I think that guy is a tool. He is completely riding the popularity of Pacquiao. But either way, if I was that close to a celebrity that big, I might be doing the same.
I cracked up bad when that dude told him "I TOLD YOU NO RICE AFTER 3!!"
Re: ODLH/Pacquiao 24/7 is making a star out of...
any1 gotta linkso i can watch the 3rd episode?
Re: ODLH/Pacquiao 24/7 is making a star out of...
i feel embarrassed with the 3rd episode man. i hope they burned the tape. my fellow countrymen (pac's entourage) showed that they were back in the stone age. come on man, eating like a bunch of baboons using your hands when you are capable of using utensils is not funny. come on. i know where i came from. i know how to eat using my hands back then coz we got no spoons to use. but you're in america now.elevate your lifestyle. im sure manny buys spoon and forks.
Re: ODLH/Pacquiao 24/7 is making a star out of...
I must admit I've only watched half the first episode.
I find Oscar and Freddie so utterly utterly dull I just can't bring myself to watch it.
I'd rather watch another season of Contender than sit through any more of these 24/7 shows featuring such wholly uninteresting boxing personalites.
