Re: Mayweather Training for a possible Pac Match?
I think that Pac has a chance against ODLH, just not a very good one. However, if he does beat him it would be good for boxing because it would mean that ODLH would have to call it a day & the fact is a Pac-PBF fight would be fantastic. I'm not sure I can see PBF coming back to fight Hatton unless its to take da piss out of his pops. I think it would have to be something huge bring him back and only Pacquiao (after beating ODLH & possibly even Ricky) would offer that IMO.
Re: Mayweather Training for a possible Pac Match?
If anything, hes waiting for Oscar to beat Pac. Then hell sign on to fight Oscar in a rematch because tht would generate more $ than a rematch with Hatton. As for Pac, look for him to fight Hatton win or lose.
I believe that to be the grand plan.

that came to mind too. i think thats oscar and floyds plan, i just hope pac spoils it. If thats not the plan then how else will oscar make money of big show downs between pac/floyd or pac/hatton? if we know oscar, his only in it for wealth either for the present or the future.

Pacman will be relegated to Ricardo Mayorga or Zab Judah status after his fight with oscar a name to pad guys records.
Its a shame they handled pacamn this way his advisers are gonna ruin him and his legacy because of biting off more then he can chew.
Cant agree with you more but We sill still pay to see the fight even with Pac losing to Oscar. And Pac fans will still think he has got a chance LOL
If PAC beats Oscar more convincingly than how PBF beat Oscar then I think PAC has a chance to beat PBF in a future fight... ;D

I keep thinking this fight is gonna turn out the way the Trinidad fight did. And Trinidad was a natural 147 pounder and we saw what Oscar did to him for a majority of the fight.

You can't be serious with that comment Taeth ?
Re: Mayweather Training for a possible Pac Match?
If for some reason Pac manages to beat Oscar, even by the smallest margin, I can't imagine Floyd NOT coming out of retirement to fight him. The timing is perfect. He's had just enough rest, and this is the biggest fight that can be made in boxing, hands down. I can't see Floyd being able to resist that $$$ and that potential feather in his cap.
If Pac loses (most likely), Pac fight Hatton next. Nobody will think less of Manny for losing the the much bigger man, and it would make perfect sense for him to drop down to 140, a weight he should be able to handle much better than 147. The size difference between real WW's and even the top LWW's is significant - a much bigger difference than between LWW's and LWs.
Then, if Pac beats Hatton, Floyd will probably come back to fight Pac after he's coming off a win against the top man at 140. If Hatton wins, Floyd has Hatton (maybe at 140) or Oscar. I still wouldn't be surprised if Floyd tries to cherry-pick a MW belt at some point.
Behold the prophecy of Rozzydamus.
