Arab Term of Endearment, yeah right. :D
Frankly, I kinda think at this point that Al Quaida prefers a guy like Bush or McCain to Obama, they (McCain & Bush) are more likely to continue to try and defeat a concept (movement?) militarily.
Actually you have point
The greatest thing that ever happened for Al Queda recruitment was the Bush administration.
Probably, but lets not forget that BL declared war under the Clinton Administration. I was thinking mostly about IRAQ. I think AQ is probably content to let something like IRAQ drag on, it gives them a convenient battleground for jihad. I don't think they particularly give a damn about whether that's good for your average Iraqi.

Come to think of it,we dont either, first thing we got back up and running was the Oil ministry, and thats the first place we stationed troops.
And officially the whole hissy fit started under Bush 1, it was the basing rights that we negotiated out of GW1 in Saudi Arabia that put such a hustle in Bin Forgotten's bustle.
But honestly, all Al Queda has to do is mention Abu Ghraib and they pick up 10 members

As to whether or not US cares about what happens to the average Iraqi, that's not something I intend to address. As for getting the oil ministry running, well yeah, I think they wanted IRAQ to have some kind of infrastructure, maybe even some income of its own.
Interesting to note that infrastructure (OIL, water sewers) is one thing that US kept trying to build up, and the insurgency (maybe AQ, maybe not) kept trying to destroy, at least in the early days, I'm not too sure what's happening in that regard now.

The last things we checked on,was running water and re-establishing a viable power grid for the country.
People whove just had their house vaporized by an errant Patriot missile tend to notice those type of things.
Iraq has been nothing if not a huge recruitment tool for Al-Queda

OK, you wanna blame it on the Republicans? Shit, if it wasn't BinLaden it'd be someone else. I ain't saying anything about whether or not the US was justified, but Clinton sent cruise missiles into Sudan and Afghanistan. The suicide bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon, that was under Reagan's watch. Then there was Jimmy Carter and the Iran hostages. I seem to recall during the Nixon days watching processions of white robed dudes on TV, whacking themselves bloody with chains and two by fours, chanting death to the great satan. The Democrats ran the show in 1947. How far back do you want to go?

Oh Jimmy Carter totally boned Iran,it sounds like such a simple thing, but letting the Shah in to the US for cancer treatment was a total screw up.

Man it that must really tick you off thats all then youve been able to tag lately, and to even more wreck your parade, your insinuation that Obama might have been involved, Obama and Blagojevich cant stand each other, and havent for years.
Man losing coming and going
Those wacky republican talking points
Re: This how Dirty Politics Work
I didn't insinuate that Obama is involved, you inferred that Obama is involved, I may find it strange that this kind of thing can go on without Obama knowing anything about it HOWEVER I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
When I said that there were more crooked Democrats I meant not only present day, but all-time hell look at Tammany Hall and Boss Tweed.
Politics (of all names, shapes, and sizes) breeds corruption, I'll be the first to agree that there are crooked Republicans as well. The Blagojevich deal is just the big front page issue right now.

Its in the title of the story
And as far as historically, would you like to discuss the Teapot Dome Scandle, how about Watergate,or Iran Contra,or the entire Grant and Harding administrations
Re: This how Dirty Politics Work
Hey, I'm not trying to be partisan the Blagojevich scandal is just the top story right now....sorry.
As I said in the post, I admit there are sheisty happenings on both sides of the isle. So please stop trying to show me how Republicans have had issues in the past just to prove a point, I already know it. I just figured since the Blagojevich thing is pretty recent that people may want to weigh in on it.....but apparently I'm going to get attacked for bringing up this piece of shit ONLY because he has a D after his name......childish

Please quote where I said SPECIFICALLY that the Democrats are more shady than the Republicans.
All I can find is a quote where I'm just busting balls and posted "Oh those Democrats".....but I guess you are the expert on what I have posted in this thread so go ahead and prove I posted anything close to the Democrats being more shady....I triple dog dare you ;D
