I feel like a tool now that I can't give my family anything they deserve.
Thank God Jenna's presents were got back in November.

That's pretty selfless.
hmmmm times are tight. If it was a stranger I would have kept the €300 and returned the wallet anonymously.

Brah, half the shit we buy anymore is made on slave wages in China, the best gift you can give your entire family,is to be the best version of the man they love you can be. And if youd have bolted with the cash that wouldnt be the case.
So what if its a little on the lean side, half the shit you buy will be broke by next year anyway, but you wont be.
Re: In The Spirit Of The Season
I try to not limit myself to buying "stuff" for people, I try to buy consumeables or even services for people as presents and that way I can most effeciently help the local economy and get the people who are dear to me what they want for Christmas.
Re: In The Spirit Of The Season
I don't see myself being declared a Saint any time soon, but recently it felt good to do something nice for someone I just met. :)
Anyways there's a kid at my gym named Dallas who was using an old pair of short hand wraps given to him by his Grandfather. It was only long enough to go around his wrists a few times leaving the rest of his hands unprotected. So the next time that I saw him I gave him a brand new pair of hand wraps. He was a little surprised, but soon eager to put them on. I'm not a talkative person by nature, but through giving others encouragement, advice, and even a pair of hand wraps brings about a feeling of camradery to my gym.
