That's Larry in a nutshell. I used to hate Larry but for some reason I started to turn. I think it was his ability to not "pull any punches" during his interviews.
I used to just find him amusing at times...Then like everyone else I found him to be annoying,,,,I can't believe I am saying this but....Jim Lampley was actualy my favorite of the two:-\....The it happened...
Joe Calzaghe fought Peter Manfredo.....After the fight Larry interviewed Joe and Joe was talking about Quality opp and how he only fights the best:rolleyes:...This was before Kessler and Hopkins mind you....Larry gave his outright opp in saying...
"Your trying to tell me that Peter Manfredo is the best the division has to offer?......I about died....
Then he ask who will he fight next and Joe replies "Well my promoter makes those decisions he will tell you....and invites Warren over to talk...
Frank walks over happy as shit he is about to get air time and....
LARRY TURNS HIS BACK ON HIM THEN LOOKS BACK TO HIM AGAIN AND MOTIONS WITH HIS HEAD FOR WARREN TO GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!:lolhaha::lolhaha::lolhaha::lolha ha::lolhaha::lolhaha::lolhaha:
THEN LOOKS INTO THE CAMERA AND SAYS HE WILL SPARE THE FANS OF HAVING TO LISTEN TO THAT!!!!!!

Absolutely agree on that, he seems to have a far greater depth of knowledge that he doesn't just wheel out to show what a clever fucker he is. I do think though he wouldn't be able to get away with some of the shit Merchant does, simply because I think Larry's age protects him from any possible aggression when takes the piss outta some boxers.

Nah, he mos def says 'you gotta shutout". Hadn't seen that before & tbh I think PBF comes off better out of it than Merchant who for once actually looks taken aback. He is talkin some shit though, because the Baldomir fight was f***in dreadful & whilst it was a clinic it was horrible to watch. Probably why hadn't seen the post-fight interviews before.
