Just curious as to why you are a bigger Hatton fan?
I like thuggish fighters,I dont train my fighters like that, but I'll be the first to admit theyre way more fun to watch as a fan
As a fan, Ricky is a fun guy to watch, you never have to worry about where he is,because the awnser is allways,"Right in front of the other guy"
I loved Mancini and Manfreddy for the same reason, art and artifice didnt enter in to it,these guys came for war
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
I wouldn't be shocked by that, or the Pac-Hatton fight going through. Either way I suspect everyone talking about Pacquaio having no balls, being scared, bottling it, are going to look fairly silly. A guy willing to fight anybody, Barrera at his peak in his first fight at 126, JMM right after that, a fight that most elite fighters would have never made, he didn't have to fight JMM, he could have just said "Who has JMM beat". All this time and suddenly he becomes a coward, LOL.
This whole thing is turning me into a Pac fan, I may start a thread on here about how great Pacquio is and ban everyone but me and Saddoboxer from it.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
Who is in Pacquiao's ear? Roach would be right there telling him, Pacquiao you need to think about your future, you need to make more money to look after yourself. Arum makes more money if Pacquiao makes more money. Guys like Pacquiao and Cotto aren't lawyers, they go along with what Arum wants as long as they like the sound of it. WHy would anyone in Pacquiao's camp want him to fight for less money than he could potentially make? They have strong arguements for why the fight should be 60/40 in his favor, and its hard to disagree with that when your putting your life on the line.
The fact that Hatton has recently been knocked out, the fact that he hasn't foughten the level of guys that warant him this type of fight, the fact that there are better fighers out htere with potentially the celebrity to make Pacquiao more money(like Mayweather, Margarito, Cotto), guys who are more deserving to fight him.
You guys should realize that Hatton is lucky his name is even considered as an opponent for Pacquiao. He is lucky that his fame outweighs his ability, as good as he is.

ANd Pacquiao doesn't come to fight? I'm just curious because Pacquiao is most exciting fighter in the sport, and puts it all on the line, and often has disregarded defense to land that hard punch.

You should start a whole forum for PAC/Hatton negotiations threads there will be enough soon to fill many pages.

Are you taking offense to his personal choice of fighter? I don't see what you are getting at here. Are you hoping to have him say damn you're right I like PAC better now?

His GREED has stumped the fight.
His own promoter and trainer have criticised his "bizarre" actions and question whether he ever really wanted the fight. Pac clearly funked up, unless he didn't fancy facing Hatton of course ;)
His greed? What about Hatton's greed? If Hatton is only in there for a payday IMO, or he would do anything to regain his legacy. Its not Pacquiao who's legacy is in question, It was like 10 years ago the last time Pacquiao was knocked out, Hatton just got knocked out at the end 2007 against Mayweather. Pacquiao has everything to lose, Hatton has absolutely nothing to lose. For once Pacman deserves the lions share, and you think its just him? You don't think Arum has anything to do with it? Or Roach?
For sure.. in an ideal world Hatton would say "fuck it, i'm a multi-gazillionaire, i don't mind giving him some extra dough" but it's the boxing business. Things don't work like that.
Pac is the betting favourite not Hatton. Pac is the greedy one because he refuses to fight for what they originally agreed.
Arum and Roach have to do with what? I don't understand what you mean
actually arum agreed to the 50/50 without pac knowing and suddenly tells pac no the fight wont be in england. Pac wanted the fight in england and arum denied it.

What the fuck! There's a million quotes from Arum and Roach saying Pac's CRAZY refusing a 50/50 split. It was an "unbelievable" deal.
You need to read what they say.. let me help

Well.. even his own promoter questioned whether he ever really wanted the fight.
I can't be bothered to find the quote.

cause there is none. FACT.
its true arum and freddy are not in pacs ear cause pac is across the pacific and sticking to his guns. why listen to arum if he didn't let the fight take place where pac wanted it and ricky wanted it and everybody wanted it, in england. Pacs real reason to want to fight hatton was because he'll get a chance to fight in england. He can shit on hattons belt and status at 140, pac never cared about belts. Pac can fight cotto or margarito even if it does look suicidal for a better legacy. hatton needs pac more then pac needs him. FACT.

No Pac is a brilliant sniper
If I was training a fighter and they could work away like Pac does,Id tell them to do that in a heartbeat
But he isnt a thug
Hatton is a stone cold thug
I dont dislike either fighter, but of the two,Hatton is the thug
If you want the sweet science(and some days thats what I prefer) Id recommend Pac,if I wanted to watch somebody who comes forward and tries to thug it out,Id say watch Hatton.
I dont get to watch as many fights as I like for just the fun of it,Im usually scouting someone, so I just like to watch a brawler when I can, especially one who can get away with it like Ricky does

Oh yes there is. Fact.
"I don't know what really happened here but there are two things," Arum said. "One, Manny didn't really want the fight, which I doubt. Secondly, we all know Manny is a gambler, a poker player. He probably figured if he was strong to the end, they would fold and they didn't."
