I am speechless, here i am for weeks on end saying how good it has been to watch Nate Campbell comeback after the mistakes of the past (Peden) and then he does this?

It really does sound like he just decided "to hell with the belts, I'm gonna move up after this anyway." He may have even made this decision some time ago when he found it difficult to get down. Then he probably tried to figure how close he had to come after making a token effort to come down, and still have the fight come off.
It all sounds logical, but doesn't sound fair to Funeka at all. I hope he had to give a good portion of his purse to Funeka.

I dont know that it was planned, but Campbell and his team dont seem to think that Funeka earned the title shot anyways, so I wouldnt completey rule it out that they had a feeling it was going to come to this.

This is really disappointing. I really hope it's due to his age and inactivity as opposed to what some people are speculating about.

He doesnt give a crap probably after not getting a bigger fight, shit the belts werent helping him get fights...if he wins he's gonna get a shot anyway.
