“The one-sided interview he did with biased keyboard warrior Dan Rafael (ESPN.com) – a man who has shown a longstanding dislike for David Haye - has distorted some of the facts.
"David will fight Wladimir anywhere they choose, and give them the two rematch options they have requested.
"In regards to the rematches clause, I am baffled as to why Bonte seems to have forgotten our last conversation about this. We said they could have the two rematches they wanted, which effectively means David’s next three fights could be in Germany against either Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko.
"What they’re also demanding is that if David were to win against Wladimir and then have a mandatory challenger obligation (non-Klitschko) he would have to immediately vacate the title he won from Wladimir. This would mean David could win three fights against the Klitschko brothers and still not be in a position to officially call himself heavyweight champion of the world at the end of it."
Booth continued: "They (the Klitschkos) would make exactly the same money in Germany as they would in England because we have dropped our figure to go to Germany. If they take a proposed fight with Chris Arreola, they will make substantially less. So people can now work this out for themselves

It looks like they're both bottling Haye. Who'd have thought it?

Klitschko-Haye talks suspended! | Fightnews - Boxing News Updated 24/7
According to the Ukrainian language section of klitschko.com, Wladimir Klitschko has decided to stop negotiations with David Haye. He says the main problem has been a lack of professionalism on the part of Haye and his representatives. Wlad says Haye can’t decide on his demands. “If Haye continues in the same spirit, it will be two more years before he get a chance to reach a championship fight.” In the event the fight with Haye is not resurrected, Wlad plans “to face Chris Arreola or find someone else. This will be determined later.”

Dan Rafael's Reply to Adam Booth(from his recent blog)
"I saw some quotes from David Haye manager/trainer Adam Booth this week in which he referred to me as a "biased keyboard warrior," a response to my comments in last week's blog about his pathetic negotiating skills with regard to a proposed fight for Haye against heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko this summer. I don't think it's bias to expose someone who spends a lot of time boasting about fights he supposedly wants to make, then manages the negotiations like a hand grenade. Put it this way: As a manager, well, Booth is a hell of a trainer. He makes Nacho Beristain look like Al Haymon."
Re: Haye Klitschko is falling apart- Talks Suspended
Adam Booth called him a keyboard warrior? ;D Classic.
I wish journalists would stop being so fucking stupid. How is Haye greedy? He cant seriously expect Haye to take a much smaller split than Wlad is... sure Wlad is the champion, but Haye will bring a large amount to the table with his UK fan base. What is Wlad bringing? He has never done good PPV numbers.. infact Haye is probably the main selling point of this fight, people are curious about him.. he's a young, hungry fighter who alot of people are predicting to knock Wlad out, this kind of buzz hasen't been in the division for a few years at least.
The odd thing is the brothers are demanding a rematch clause for both of the brothers - they must be scared of Haye sparking them out to stall negotiations over that?
Re: Haye Klitschko is falling apart- Talks Suspended
You cant blame Wlad's team for this falling apart....Haye and his merry band of idiots drew up the original contract with the fight taking place in the stadium in the UK, just when it was time to put money down Haye's team backed out because they realized Haye was NOT hatton or calzaghe.......Now they want to redo a deal and have Wlad's team pick a place in Germany.....In preparation for the fight Haye probably started watching tapes on Wlad and realized he has no chance to beat him and told his managers to Get out of it any way you can!! haha

Dan Rafael only bothered to get Wlad's side of the story & wonders why he gets called a 'biased keyboard warrior'. He needs to get off Boenthe's dick, its embarassing. Whether or not Haye is taking the piss, a decent journalist would make the effort to get both sides' piece of the story, at least as so not to be so blatantly Team Klitschko's bitch

I dont really think there is two sides to this argument. One fighter is Unified Heavyweight Champion of the world, the other has fought 6 rounds as a heavyweight. Haye really should not be getting greedy.

There's always 2 sides, & there are few key inaccuracies in what Boenthe says that I pointed out earlier in the thread that mean that his article was bollocks. Also it is true that Haye is no Hatton or Calzaghe in terms of numbers he'd bring to a PPV, but he brings a lot more than Calzaghe did at that stage of his career in viewing numbers, & the amount his profile has risen over the past year, means that he would bring a lot more in now. Take Booth's side of the story into account additionally, & it stops seeming like its just Hayemaker who're taking the piss. The rematches clause makes it seem like at the least its not just Hayemaker 'running scared'
Re: Haye Klitschko is falling apart- Talks Suspended
If anyone is biased it's the Haye fans.....what does Haye bring that Cris Arreola doesn't????
If the Haye camp thinks that they are in a position of power they are sorely mistaken. Cris Arreola has a decent fan base, Arreola is UNDEFEATED, Arreola is experienced at heavyweight, and Arreola will fight in the US where I am sure there will be more money.
Wladimir has options....and before you Brits get all upset and think that Haye is being ducked get back to reality, he beat Monte Barrett AND Haye got knocked down in the process.

Where are the threads about Arreola vs the Klits? Where's the interest?
Haven't you noticed the hoopla Haye has created?
Arreola is a nobody compared to Haye. No-one will give Arreola a chance against Wlad. At least with Haye, he's created enough interest, shown enough explosive power and enough talent that even his haters can't be certain he wont beat Wlad ;)
Re: Haye Klitschko is falling apart- Talks Suspended
I'm sure there is intrest about it.....I give Arreola a better shot than Haye, Cris has actually taken a punch at heavyweight. The only reason there are so many Haye threads is because all of you are British and you're in love with the guy

All British? There is more non-Brits here than Brits by miles. There's more Americans than anyone else.
Check out the other sites. Check the American writers.
It's ALL Haye.
The interest in Arreola-Wlad will be MINUTE compared with Haye.

Lyle, you have NEVER given a good description why you dislike David Haye, nor why he isn't a lift for the heavyweight division.
Please could you care to explain your reasons ?

I would love to see Arrola take the fight. He's American, he loves to mix it up, and he's got heart. Arreola is much bigger then Haye in the US. He bring a big meixcan following on the West cost.

Is Arreola really that much bigger than Haye in the States? I've read he's not very big at all.
There certainly isn't the interest about him on the boxing sites compared with Haye (from what i've seen, although maybe i've not took enough notice). No-one gives him a chance against either Klit.
