Cris is going to lose and soon, and it won't be because of skill as much as lack of training and taking fights seriously.....can you see him beating Wladimir when he comes in at 255?!?!?! I sure as hell don't! Wlad is in shape AND he's athletic enough to box circles around Arreola, who wouldn't last 5 rounds with Wlad unless he gets himself in better shape.
Eddie Chambers is fat because he has to be fat to be a heavyweight, he could easily fight at cruiserweight...but where is the money in that? I agree Eddie needs to work on his stamina, but bringing up more out of shape heavyweights only proves the points everyone is trying to make about why the division is so weak.
I agree with booze, no heavyweight PERIOD should look like Arreola or McCline did last night. They are supposed to be PRO athletes and they need to conduct themselves as such. You can run down the list of heavyweight champions and they have all been in great shape...even Old George Foreman, he was in better shape at age 45 than either of those guys in the ring last night and Evander Holyfield at age 45 is in better shape than those guys right now.
I want to say that fighters should get fined for coming into fights out of shape, but defining what "in shape" and "out of shape" is would be difficult....all I know is Cris is going to come across a fighter who will take the fight seriously and he's going to lose
