Re: Would you buy PPV to watch Margo fight outside the U.S.?
actually I probably wouldn't. But I'd really enjoy it.
Re: Would you buy PPV to watch Margo fight outside the U.S.?
I'd pay to watch tarver talk about how good he is on ppv before i'd watch margacheato's punk ass do anything. I hope he never gets another fight and if he does i hope he never wins another.

So lets say that that is what happens, Nazim Ricahrdson wraps his hands they go out and fight and Margo beats his ass... then what? did he cheat the first fight really? did he have a bad night, was he under weight, would he get any credit?
I sincerely hope that if Margarito & Mosely do meet again that Tony's wtraps are properly checked PLUS Shane Mosely be tested pre fight for HGH. The normal pee test given to fighters does not detect HGH .
Shane's amazing performance against Margarito is kinda suspect after his last two lack lustre performances. Just think about it folks Nazeem goes in Margarito's Dressing room raises hell about his wraps, Shane gets slipped through without too much notice:confused:

What proof do the CA comission have that Margarito's wraps were illegal???
They have an envelope thin pad of gauze, damp. with an undetermined stain on it. On this pad, after very extensive tests, they found TRACE ELEMENTS!!! that means a miniscule amount , of sulpher.
Ok sulpher is found in Plaster of paris BUT its also found in hand creme.
This pad was handled by at least FIFTEEN!!!! people before being sealed for analysis. Is it beyond comprehension that was where the sulpher came from???
Where are the plastc inserts Nazim Richardson claimed fell out of them???? Where are the "Bricks" claimed to be in the wraps
Why isnt the CA Comissions Chief inspector being named and called to task?? After all he signed off on the initial wrap saying it was OK.
Then to add to the pantomime then he's allowed to give evidence supporting the wrap was illegal. ROFL
This whole scenario would be laughed out of any court in the land I'm just waiting for Margarito's lawyers to sue the CA comission for depriving a man of his livlihood and defamation of character..
The fact that his opponent that night Mosely is a KNOWN STEROID ABUSER himself but was allowed to escape unpunished only adds to the irony
Margarito's license should be activated again IMMEDIATELY
Where do you get "trace elements" from?
Its was stated that way on the report "Trace Elements of sulpher were discovered on the pad" As was stated Shane Mosely handled the pad himself and said he couldnt see anything wrong with it.
There was nothing on that pad that would enhance Margarito's punching power or to hurt his opponent end of story
:banghead::banghead::banghead: that should be familiar CJ ;D

If Cotto-Margarito 2 happened and was on PPV I'd watch it on a free stream just in the hopes of seeing him get hammered and after it happened I'd mail Cotto 49.95 just to let him know I appreciated it.
I don't think that $49.95 will do much for Cotto's doctor bill. Loaded gloves or not I think Margarito kicks his regardless.

It didn't say "trace elements", it said sulphur and calcium. Bob Arum is a business figure with long-standing access to and knowledge of the national and state political systems, and the juice to be able to pay campaign contributions to the right people to get things done. And I'm certain that eventually history will show that he got things done with the statement the California boxing board issued.
I'd put money on Arum having got them to issue the blandest most anodyne statement possible, just that "sulphur and calcium were present" which I think was the wording. But they could equally have issued a statement that said something like " a powdered form of sulphur and calcium was found in the wraps, a substance which was an exact physical and chemical match for the commercial plaster of paris premix which hospitals use to make plaster casts. In conjunction with the blocks of gauze found in the wraps and moisture from the fighter's hands this would have eventually formed an effective plaster cast over the fighter's knuckles during the bout."
But Arum got a statement issued which gives him the wiggle room of claiming it was hand cream or some other bs, something that leaves Margarito still a commercial proposition after his ban ends instead of a pariah. Because there's big money to be made in the rematch. I'm sure we'll eventually get to hear the real story in a year or three or a decade or two and that's what we'll eventually get to hear, like a decade or so after the Resto fight we found out he'd used plaster on his gauze as well as removing the padding.
