Re: Anyone else man enough to make the same prediction for Hatton Pacman as me?
In a way this is kind of asking people if their man enough to sit on the fence
I am man enough to hedge my bets usually but here I'll go with the Pacman, he is simply the man and he has great totally rational fans.

No not at all Ouma, you will see many people on here who sit on the fence by saying fighter A will win OR fighter B will win and then come on after and say they were right, it is amazing how often this happens on here, a poster will just give two scenario's and claim they called it however it goes down.
No this thread is about manning up and saying beforehand that you have no idea how this fight is going to go, and thus giving up any bragging rights or trying to predict several outcomes and then claiming you called when one of those outcomes is correct.
I am boldly saying I have no clue who will win this, and as such no matter what the result I cannot come on here after and say 'I told you so!'
That's why its a real man's prediction

I somehow think Pac is a good counter puncher. Just remember his fights vs JMM and Morales. Even when Pac was going on the backpedal he still threw punches at will. He has been connected and on wobbly legs with body and punches to the jaw but managed to keep his composure.

Hatton has come off of fighting floyd and paulie so manny's speed isn't gonna be as big a deal as most think
Good points Mar. I was having my doubts about Ricky facing guys with speed but we have to consider something too. Sure, Paulie had the speed and all but lacked the punching power. Now, put a guy as fast as Paulie (or maybe more) and add to othat some punching power and we have Pac.

Manny did absolutly great against hoya but didn't really hurt him knock him down etc....with him being as drained and a shell of himself as being claimed i'm not sure how manny's power will play out either
True. Considering how Oscar was drained, old, passed his prime, blah blah blah. Manny should have knocked him out. Oscar was not even throwing punches so it was smart from his corner to just stop right there. It was useless to keep going.
good points bro..very unbiased. about manny knocking out oscar. it could have happend if the figt was to continue on. i didnt expect and i dont expect manny to knock out oscar with one punch. oscar has a very good chin. he took shots from mayorga, trinidad, vargas among others and didnt go down. but that constant battering would have led to the ko if nacho didnt stop the fight.
Re: Anyone else man enough to make the same prediction for Hatton Pacman as me?
My Prediction Is:
If Hatton comes out no holds barred, like the hatton of old, it's a 50-50 fight and he has a very big chance of winning.
If he comes out trying to fight cute like Floyd Sr is trying to teach him, he will get picked off and beaten up.
You cannot teach an old dog new tricks. Hatton has to use his strengths and his instincts to have a solid chance.
If he comes in thinking "defense", it means he is thinking to much and will not find any groove at all.
Re: Anyone else man enough to make the same prediction for Hatton Pacman as me?
After seeing the weigh-in, I got more convinced that this is gonna be a one-sided victory for Pac.
Re: Anyone else man enough to make the same prediction for Hatton Pacman as me?
will still stand my prediction for a hatton 8th round stoppage win. has never lost at 140 pounds and I think that run will continue. should be a hell of a fight though
