I liked the brown haired one in the first season that was killed, not the one Sookie's brother choked.
and not the hippie
although on second thought I kind of liked her too.
No I was talking about the red haired one that got killed first who had done the sex tape with Jason.
The brown haired waitress and the hippie were both pretty nice IMO.
Cool Lafayette gonna be a vampy, he is going to be a formidable vamp. Hopefully he turns out to be a good gay guy vampy.
not read of this thread as says spoilers & me & the wife have just watched the first two episodes of first season, i think its pretty good, my mrs is into twilight & moonlight so i hear abt this true blood & thought might be summit we can both watch together, gonna take me a while to catch up tho
This latest episode was the best yet by far. Man that bull man was fucking creepy. The whole show was filled with tension and sinister undertones, the ending has got me hooked for next week's show too.
I can't believe you found a download for that already, that was fast.
Yes, last night show was awesome.
So that thing is a minotaur right? I can't wait to get a better look at it.
So it looks like Daphne was attacked by it as well. I wonder what powers she has, because it was weird that she just happened to be where Sam was when he jumped in the lake. Plus, based upon the preview for the next episode, she says she knows what Sam is. Is she a plant by Maryann?
I love Jessica and Hoyt together.
I liked how Terry called Sam out for being a coward as well.
Poor Lafayette. I wonder how this is going to change his character.
Okay, what is Maryann's special ingredient in what Carl was making, that made the whole party horny? Except Tara of course, because she didn't have any.
Okay, this pissed me off, at Maryann's party, you guys get to see all young girls taking their tops off, but the only guy who took his clothes off was an old man with a BIG beer belly.
I love Eric with his subtle humor, and the delivery of some of his lines. "And Pam, those were nice pumps". Plus, the look on his face when he was looking at Sookies back, just before Bill had her drink his blood, was classic. He looked like he was having an orgasm looking at all the blood.
And sorry to tell you this Bilbo, but you'll have to wait 2 weeks for the next new episode. They aren't having a new one next week, because it's the Fourth of July weekend, and they figured that a lot of people will be away from home, so next week they are just showing the first 3 episodes again.
yes.. great episode..
i also REALLY liked the whole jessica/hoyt thing.. how it went from her going into the bar ready to tear shit up and bite someone, to her realizing how intrigued hoyt was with what she has become and that he wasn't just some horny guy wanting to take advantage of her.. Great scene when you didn't know what to expect and she said, "i'll just have a true blood.. B+".. great stuff.
that bull headed thing was pretty creepy, but i'm glad that they are finally introducing some other sort of creature besides vampires.. I just hope it has some sort of relevance, instead of just some wild creature in the woods which would make the show a bit too sci-fi in my opinion.. you know like the minotaur or whatever it is has come to this town because it's after vampires or something like that.. i mean, so far the show has been VERY realistic and has not gotten too over the top sci-fi, and i hope it stays that way.
do you think that there is any sort of relation with the scratch markings on daphne's back and to her "powers"? or just coincidence that she also got attacked.
So i'm super pissed because i just read a spoiler on a site by accident..
these were my thoughts prior to reading the spoiler..
whatever attacked sookie in the woods was either maryann or daphne.. either maryann in her "true" form or daphne because if that WAS maryann then she "turned" daphne or something to that extent because of the scratches on her back at the end..
my cousin sent me a link as to WHAT maryann is, and she's called a "maenad".. this isn't a spoiler.. But the link he sent me wasn't working.. he said it was spoiler free and gave a brief intro to what maryann is.. so i googled it and started reading and now basically know who/what sookie was attacked by, and why.. even though it doesn't make COMPLETE sense yet, it's still a bummer, and i hope they tell us in the next episode what i already know so that it's not this big secret that i have to think about for weeks..
Yes, please don't tell us what you read. I don't want to know, I'd rather find out as it progresses.
Sorry if it got ruined for you. I hate when that happens to me.
nah, i wouldn't say anything unless someone PM'd me asking or something to that extent.. as i said it's nothing super secretive and i just hope that they reveal it in the next episode and it isn't an ongoing secret that the rest of the season is based on haha..
also, i would assume any spoiler on the net is known because of the books? with that said, i know that the series doesn't follow the book too closely, so i suppose that it could be incorrect.
BTW, you should stop Googling, so you don't run into anymore spoilers. ;)
Well you know that they will drag the minotaur issue out for a bit, because they don't like to reveal things too soon. So I have a feeling that you're going to have to keep that secret for a bit.
And thankfully they aren't following the books exactly, because from what Alan Ball said in the 1/2 hour special they did on season 1, that should have been Lafayette dead in Andy's car, and that would have sucked.
yeah, i was told that in the books lafayette was killed prior to this season, so i sort of expected it, and then was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't him..
and on the googling thing, i really hadn't done it before but my cousin sent me a link saying that it didn't have spoilers, and i'm sure it didn't, but my work computer wouldn't allow me to access that page for some reason.. so out of curiosity, i decided to google the topic and went to a different site.. but that site had much more information and basically said who sookie was attacked by and why.. it was really only a sentence or two long, you would think it would be harmless, but nopeee..
