You have created threads asking people to boycott the fight so that a PBF/Pac fight is more easily made, you have repeated neverending 'sources' about how badly the fight is doing in ticket & PPV sales (even though PPVs don't become available any more than 2 weeks before a fight) & now you're saying that JMM should just fight Mosley instead.
Otherwise you increasingly underplay JMM's chances & have called it as it was PBF vs Kid Thunder.
Is it because you want a PBF/Pac fight? (Which will still happen as long as both keep winning)
Or is it because you're worried that PBF might beat JMM more convincingly or that JMM beats PBF, and either way the winner may have better negotiating power against Pac & also may take the P4P #1 crown?
Seriously XB, stop tryna push agendas
Well put ..... BINGO ....... I was wondering the same thing. If the fight had actually been staged and JMM beat PBF he should by all rights deserved the bigger share in the 3rd match. Beating the unbeaten PBF would be a larger feat that Pac beating weight drained ODLH and a soon tobe drained Cotto. We all know how Pac huggers claim that the 2nd fights delay was JMM's fault. Common sense will tell you that he had no choice but to take on John for less money. JMM was the champion at that time so why should he have had to take the lesser sum? Yet now Pac fans say he has the rights to dictate the terms now ? Seems like a contradiction ....
Also Mosley is the tougher foe, so Pac fans feel JMM should fight the tougher trail in fighters . (As in Pac's beating of the lesser Diaz, an over-aged / weight drained ODLH and limited skilled Hatton. How can you say Pac is fighting the best fighters out there recently?
Styles make fights and JMM's style is not as well suited to fight Mosley or Cotto as Pac's style. However I do think it was a good style vs PBF.

I'm a new guy here but ain't no Pac nuthugger, but it's all about drawing in the casual fans, sports fans, and boxing fans. Pac has always been a bigger draw than JMM so he ain't going to be taking a smaller sum. Just like Oscar was the bigger draw against Manny but they weren't fighting for any titles and he still took in a much larger pay day than Pac.

I'ld think this is a mismatch.
GBP is pushing for a PAC-Mosley fight up to the point of ridiculously saying that PAC is avoiding Mosley...
If PAC-Mosley is OK with GBP, JMM-Mosley would be too...;)
.
You already know the answers so why do you bring it up? Pac already fought at 147 and beat the man at 140. JMM has not even fought at 140. It's really not that hard
Does this mean PAC is bigger and better fighter than JMM? I've heard fans here claiming JMM is better than PAC...
.

No it means he is untested at a higher weight, you already know that though.

JMM is untested at 143 and he agreed to fight PBF at 143... Mosley willing to go down to 143... I mean JMM and Mosley can also fight at 143, isn't it?
Re: Why don't GBP promote an in-house megafight, JMM vs. Mosley?
link --> Mosley-Marquez showdown
A Mosley-Marquez showdown might be the most logical thing for them to do now. After all, Marquez was already willing to fight a welterweight and Mosley was already willing to fight at a catchweight. The winner could possibly face the winner of Pacquiao-Cotto, giving Golden Boy Promotions an opportunity to put on another mega-fight with Top Rank in hopes of sharing in the profits. While it might sound like a mismatch, it certainly wouldn't be as boring as watching to counterpunchers since they both bring contrasting styles to the ring. Instead of waiting around for Mayweather, Oscar and his promotional company should make another big fight now before they're left out in the cold, chasing after Top Rank in hopes of riding their coat tails to make big money. It may sound crazy, but they should take the risk…after all, some risks are worth taking. Golden Boy should learn from Top Rank…worry about your own fighters instead of chasing after Money Mayweather.

I'm just exploring the possibilities... PBF is "injured"... JMM might not wait for PBF to heal and go ahead fight someone else... It could be Mosley... An easy megafight to make since both are GBP boys... PAC and Cotto are almost tied up for November 14... GBP hopefully should give us another mega match-up in JMM-Mosley with winner facing winner of PAC-Cotto... Isn't it great possibility?? BTW, forget Floyd... He better retire again...;D

Hmmmnnn... ;)
Otherwise you increasingly underplay JMM's chances & have called it as it was PBF vs Kid Thunder.
PBF has millions of advantages over JMM... PBF was initially installed as 4 to 1 favorite... PBF robbed JMM with him taking $15M of the purse and leaving only $3M to the poor JMM (83/17 purse split :o )... Call this fight what you want but I call it unfair, mismatch, tune-up fight...
Is it because you want a PBF/Pac fight? (Which will still happen as long as both keep winning)
Yes I love to see the day PAC slice and dice PBF's "Pretty Boy" face... I said that before but with all this PBF's recent antics, I want him to retire again so he won't mess the existing excellent match-ups at 147/140...
Or is it because you're worried that PBF might beat JMM more convincingly or that JMM beats PBF, and either way the winner may have better negotiating power against Pac & also may take the P4P #1 crown?
I don't care whatever the result of this PBF-JMM fight if it will eventually pushes through... In the first place I expected this fight to turn out as a boring tactical chess match between 2 master counterpunchers... I'm not really that interested with this fight, much more with the result...
Seriously XB, stop tryna push agendas
Mate, I just want to discuss these possibilities here... BTW what's "tryna"??
;););)
Not really a fan of 'boxing' then are you. Dog fighting might be more up your street.

It's not yet determined if PAC won't really fight Mosley... Mosley is desperately chasing a PAC fight but I think it's Cotto now the frontrunner to win the PAC sweepstakes with the winner of PBF-JMM in second... Mosley could be in 3rd priority...
But if Mosley is desperate in having a fight, GBP can trashed PBF (he's injured anyway) and easily make the in-house JMM-Mosley megafight...
.

As a boxing fan, do I have really to force myself get interested in a fight that I perceived to turn out as a boring fight? As a boxing fan, I think I still have personal choices to which fights to watch or not...

Right because his skills are the reason you're a fan of his, because he's obviously a more exciting fighter than JMM who's only been involved in 3 FOTY candidates within the past 14 months
