To be fair, no one gives Marquez a chance so what's the point of the fight? If the Pac fight can be made then why not scrap it? Marquez wont mind a million for NOT get punched in the head. ;)

It's now more than obvious Mayweather really thought he was the bigger PPV draw as well as the people working for him and he wasn't just say it. My guess is they realized that he will lose bargaining power by going though with Marquez and the fight has a low showing. Why else would he make such statements?

What I've read before about signed deals is that Marquez is guaranteed 35% of his purse whatever happens.
So why not go though with Marquez and make a deal after? Is it that he might lose to Marquez and not get the chance to face Pacquiao. Man.... Mayweather must really be hurting...?
