SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of October 23, 2009
CRUISERWEIGHT:
Yoan Pablo Hernandez earns the vacant number ten ranking after defeating Enad Licina (who entered as a pool member). Licina is removed from the pool with the defeat.
SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Arthur Abraham smashes his way from the pool to number four after scoring a spectacular late KO over Jermain Taylor. Taylor plummets two spots to sixth after losing his second straight fight by KO. Taylor’s fall pushes Sakio Bika, Robert Stieglitz, Allan Green and Karoly Balzsay all down a place while Denis Inkin is squeezed out of number ten into the pool. Jean Pascal (sixth at Light-Heavy) is removed from the pool, as he looks set to remain at Light Heavyweight for the time being.
MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Moving from the pool Daniel Geale claims the vacant number nine ranking with his wide decision win over unrated Samir Barbosa.
Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:
Mario Santiago (previously forth at Feather) enters the pool as his most recent work has been done at this weight.
FEATHERWEIGHT:
Mario Santiago (formerly forth) is moved to the pool at Jr. Lightweight, as his last two fights have been at that weight and he has not fought at Featherweight in over a year. Rocky Juarez, Takahiro Aoh, Jorge Solis, Ryol Li Lee and Yuriorkis Gamboa all move up a notch. Number nine is now vacant with tenth.
FLYWEIGHT:
Nonito Donaire (formerly second and still eighth at Jr. Bantam) is removed, as he does not plan on returning to this weight. Omar Narvaez, Denkaosan Kaovichit, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Koki Kameda, Luis Concepcion, Moruti Mthalane and Zolani Tete all advance one position to fill the gap. Number nine is now vacant like tenth.

David Haye rockets from seventh to second with his win over the giant Nicolay Valuev. Valuev falls a notch to third. Alexander Povetkin, Ruslan Chagaev, Eddie Chambers and Juan Carlos Gomez are all pushed down a place to accommodate Haye’s advancement.
LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT:
Chad Dawson (previously number one) claims the championship with his dominant performance in outpointing Glen Johnson. Bernard Hopkins (second last time) moves back up to first. Zsolt Erdei (previously forth) and Antonio Tarver (previously fifth) leapfrog Johnson to land at second and third respectively; while Johnson (formerly third) is now forth. Jean Pascal, Tavoris Cloud, Adrian Diaconu, Gabriel Campillo and Roy Jones Jr all advance a spot with Dawson ascension to champion. Number ten becomes vacant.

Andre Ward rockets from the pool to first with his dominant victory over Mikkel Kessler. Kessler (formerly first) drops two places to third. Gabriel Campillo advances from eighth to seventh in the reshuffling. Juergen Braehmer advances from the pool claiming the vacant tenth spot with his hard fought victory over previously unbeaten Dmitry Sukhotsky.
MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Sebastian Zbik (previously in the pool) gains entry into the ratings after his close victory over previously undefeated Emanuele Della Rosa.
