Re: Which boxer for you always put on a good show...
I love Augustus but he wasn't always fun to watch. He has been inconsistent in his career and while he has some questionable losses, he has some ugly losses too in which he DIDN'T put on a good show. Even the most ardent Augustus fan will admit that he wasn't ever consistent and even as a fan that is a very fair assesment. Plus, there is a huge probability that he took a DIVE against Alan Vester and imo that should disqualify him from the thread on that basis alone. That's not a good show.

Kid Thunder and Zelenoff are terribly entertaining.
Re: Which boxer for you always put on a good show...
Re: Which boxer for you always put on a good show...
Ricardo Mayorga.
Never been in a boring fight in his life.
Cept for when Cory Spinks ran for his life and Mayorga got gyped outta two knockdowns and shoulda won the fight.
Re: Which boxer for you always put on a good show...
Tommy Hearns.
Nigel Benn.
Julian Jackson.
Gatti.
Terry Norris.

Valid points
Re: Which boxer for you always put on a good show...
I can't believe no one has mentioned the great Felix "Tito" Trinidad. From the moment he won the title from Maurice Blocker, Tito could be counted on to KO someone in devastating fashion after being in some trouble himself. I think most people are judging Tito too much from his fights including and post Hopkins. Before that, he was a pay per view stud and one of the greatest welterweights of all time.

He had 1 thing in common with Michael Jackson , they both wore gloves for no apparent reason !

I think of fighters that I put on for 'background' while doing other things or just have to rewatch.Ones that grab your attention even though you have watched a particular fight a number of times.Every single fighter has the occasional exception.'Good show' to me is one that keeps you standing while watching;D
Terry Norris...you just NEVER knew what to expect. But you knew it would involve power punches and swings in momentum.
Edwin Rosario...same
Evander Holyfield....but the Donald and Bean fights were painful
Nigel Benn...
Johnny Tapia...for fighting style and unbrideled personality while he did it.
Wayne Mccullough...
Ricardo Lopez...
Azumah Nelson
Shane Mosley
Jung-koo-Chang
Glen Johnson
Saad Muhammad
Bobby Chacon
Charles Brewer....yes.Him.His willingness combined with that chin made of eggshells.Fun stuff!!
Michael Carbajal
Arturo Gatti
Wilfredo Gomez
Oscar Larios
Meldrick Taylor
Tony Lopez
Marco A.Barrera
Jorge Paez....THE Showman
Jochiro Tatsuyoshi....stay retired danmit!!!
Yaqui Lopez
Erik Morales
Kevin Pompey..until the end was near
Fernando Montiel
Antonio Margarito
