I like Joe Calzaghe and don't want to add any composite parts to him.
As we can chose whatever we want, I'll go for what I think is some serious overkill, after all, dreaming is free and not punishable by the law, isn't it?;)
Chin : Kid Gavillan, 143 fights, never went down a single time, perhaps the greatest jaw ever in the world of boxing.
Handspeed: A Prime Roy Jones Jr is more than a speedfreak on feet to me.
Body Punching: Miguel Cotto seems to be more than a valid choice for the occasion.
Jab: Wlad Klischko has to me one of not the best jab in the business actually.
Defense: Willie Pep aka Will O The Wisp, the most elusive boxer of all time, the only one able to win a round on every card without throwing a single punch and without getting caught at all.
Heart: Arthuro Thunder Gatti, needless to mention why, he was the quintessence of what a true warrior should be.
Ring Brain: MArvelous Marvin HAgler; he has that legendary knack to have his opponents right where he wanted them and to get away like a cat when it was much needed.
Power: SMoking Joe Frasier or perhaps Big George, I have a hard time picking any of these two and would be more than please with any of them.
Accuracy: As much as I hate him, I think that FLoyd Mayweather JR is a damn good choice on that one.
Stamina: Paul Williams: Throwing 1200 shots per fight and being still fresh? Frigging awesome.
*****************
As for a new category:
Trainer: The ghost of Eddie Futch.
I'm going to try and keep my fighters within the same size range to keep him from looking like the Cloverfield monster.
Chin : Juan Manuel Marquez
Handspeed: Timothy Bradley
Heart: Ricky Hatton
Body Punch: Miguel Cotto
Jab: Kendall Holt
Defense: Shane Mosley
Ring Brain: Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Power: Kermit Cintron
Accuracy: Joshua Clottey
Stamina: Manny Pacquiao
One fighter who has all of these attributes is just below as my sig.
Against Calzaghe, I've never seen a man taking a beating like he did & keep getting up for more without any hope of winning. He fought threw the immense pain in his shoulder many times & after the fight with Jones, I only had respect for one man. With his eyes closed up he still went out for the 10th round & when his corner stopped it he actually screamed 'no'.
Regardless of the hype once around him, a man like that deserves our respect. I know there are many who will surely disagree with me, but for me personally he's on a level with the likes of Gatti & Corrales in terms of his heart.
