Double Standards

Well Juan Manuel Marquez fought Casamayor and Juan Diaz at 135!!!!! Pacquiao straight BOMBED OUT Ricky Hatton, a guy moving up from 130 shouldn't have been able to do that to the TOP(or a top) Junior Welterweight no matter which way you look at it.

Do you see any power punchers at 130 or even 135 who could blast out a top teir Junior Welter??? I don't.

Pac gets praise because 1. He took a risk 2. He blew his competition out of the water....meanwhile Mayweather 1. Took a NAME 2. Took that name outside of his regular weightclass and 3. Couldn't even stop him

Edwin Valero? Antonio Pitalua? Jorge Linares? I'd give all of them a shot at blowing out some of the top of 140 pile.

I still want somebody to explain to me why it's ok for PBF to be the smaller guy in fights but never the bigger guy. when he moved up through the weight classes you all doubted his power, chin and strength. People were on here begging for him to fight hatton. I have the forum archive to prove it.

will everybody just say that no matter who pbf beat we won't be happy because he's on top.

This is what you all will say after future PBF fight

If he beats pac. PAC Was a little guy.
If he beats shane. Shane was old.
If he beat cotto. Cotto was ruin by margarito.
If he beats margarito. Margarito was overrated.

Do ya'll want him to move up to 168 and fight in the super 6. I mean what the fuck do you all want?

To be honest "The Boxer" he kind of brings this on himself.

#1 Floyd has never unified ergo he has left 2-3 seemingly deserving fighters in each division he's been in without giving them a fight. Some deserved a shot and some didn't but that's his choice to have a couple fights here, move up a couple fights there, and then move up again.

#2 Floyd never gives anyone he fights against any credit until AFTER he beats them and for the most part he makes it look so easy we tend to agree more with his trash talking than when he makes a half assed attempt to be gracious in victory and touts the various skills of the defeated. RJJ never really talked about his opponents he talked about RJJ and how good he was and so the show was never about who Roy fought it was about HOW Roy fought therefore guys like Roy seem to get a pass on this.

Actually a lot of it was put down to Floyd's popularity within the young, black community, as Schaeffer predicted pre-fight. Those who watched to see him lose would not number 1 million people, not in a recession.

I don't think it's a demographic he's that bothered about appealing to. Ain't like he hasn't got enough fans already.
