Mayweather gives a very fair explination why he believes they should both take further testing, and its not an unfair request. Not even when he was at 130 did he add that much weight from the weigh in to the fight. Mayweather has never been recorded gaining more than 3 pounds between weigh-in and the pre fight weigh-in, and that was against Baldomir. Mayweather came in at 146 with absolutely no problems against Juan Manuel Marquez, why would anyone think he wouldn't make the welterweight limit? Mayweather maybe weighed 4-6 pounds more than Marquez, but not anywhere near to 20 pounds. The only difference in their size was his height which was an inch or two.

I didn't remember that weight, it was more the Mayweather weight I remembered because I was surprised it was so low because I thought he'd be up around 155. My issue is at someone else's home, but anyone with the issue that is all white except for Mayweather with his hands raised on the cover can verify what the actual weights were when weighed by NSAC.

Mayweather has already agreed to Pacquiao's demand of 10 million over the welterweight limit, it's time for Manny to agreed to this part of the bargain of blood testing. And it's only a tablespoon of blood, not that much to affect Pacquiao.

Well according to the article.
"Schaefer said that all terms -- including the site (MGM Grand in Las Vegas) and an unprecedented $10 million-per-pound penalty if either fighter comes in over the 147-pound limit -- had been agreed to by both sides."
So if we assume that this is true and Floyd agreed to the missing weight penalty, I don't think a drug screen is too out of order.

The NSAC's drug testing procedures have been fine for him in everyone of his fights in Vegas so far, but now all of a sudden he's demanding extended testing?? Nevada has the most stringent drug testing procedures in the country, yet they are not good enough for the Mayweathers.
Smells to me like the man is scared of something.
Whether he agrees to them or not, first blood to Pacman. Mayweather is blinking before the contract is even signed.
And before anybody says that Pac is scared because of the weight clause, is it unreasonable for a boxer to expect his opponent to be on weight?

30 days? Really, 30 days? If anyone believes that you are going to be drained on the night of a fight because of blood test given weeks in advance is nuts.
Also, of course Mayweather was significantly bigger and stronger then Marquez. When Marquez fought Juan Diaz, it was completely obvious to pretty much everyone that the physically stronger man in the ring was Diaz. If Diaz was stronger, we knew Floyd would come in and be the much more stronger. 10 mil a pound is ridiculous, fck that if I was Pacquiao I would be droppin some cash on tryin to get someone to rig the scales I'm all for forcing Floyd to make weight but 10 million a pound is ridiculous.
None of us know for sure one way or another if Pac is juicing but these days you can never be surprised

I have to side with Mayweather here. I mean what is the loss to Pacquiao if he subjects himself to the test? Is he going to be extra fatigued for the fight or what?
Make no mistake about it, this is THE defining fight of our generation it's the best offense against the best defense. Two fighters in their prime p4p #1 against the former p4p #1.
There is good cause to take extra steps to make sure the playing field is level. I know it's cool and common to hate on Mayweather, but he is not being unreasonable on this point.
