Well to get the full effects of HGH you need to be using it for 6 months. It's not something you're going to shoot once and BAM you're all jacked up on HGH, it just doesn't work that way.
So testing 30 days before the fight and immidately following the fight would be more than sufficient for detecting HGH.
Yes for HGH but not for EPO and other PEDs.
True on EPO but other PED's (and I could be wrong) I thought they would be detected via the urine tests and/or blood tests that are proposed by the Pacquiao camp.
I think what we got here is not really Pac hiding anything, just a BIG pissing contest by both camps. It's a shame it's going to deraill a big fight of this magnitude.
I'm not sure. But recently, didn't Chavez Jr went positive for PEDs just by a urine test?
Anyways. I just read an article in other thread posted by Inztanzz. Apparently, there's a big development. The fight will more likely to happen after all if team Mayweather agrees. It's Floyd move now. It's like a chess match.

no they were diuretics (spelling) so they didn't enhance his performance whatsoever, completely different story

That's right. Mayweather has no evidence or whatsoever to prove that Pac is onto something to start with. It's all envy, jealousy, and wild baseless accusation.
Re: Vivek Wallace and his opinion on Pac Mayweather.
No offense but all unbiased fans in this post have come to the same conclusion. the only thing you other guys have demonstrated is that you are unable to look at things without personal bias becoming envolved.

and by the way, I would looove to have this same blood testing done for NFL and NBA :-)
Why not? Boxers are independent contractors who fight on contract by contract bases... There is no limit by the various state run comissions on this subject. Sure Glove, ring size, Boxing rules are all dictated but drug testing procedures are fair game if it's contractually agreed to. Floyd is doing the test too, so whats the big deal about?

So what your saying is we should ignore the suspicions about Manny Pacquiao and performance enhancers which lets face it could very well be true and just sweep it under the rug, while that little prick with his clueless smile cheats his way into Boxing histoey and folklore???
Like I stated earlier Floyd has to take the same test, so were is there any advantage for Mayweather? This is a question of ethics and morals. All Pac has to do is have a bit of blood taken and some urine? Im sure he has his blood taken frequently as well as shots and immunizations seeing he travels from the Philippines and the US quite a bit.
Not to mention all the crack pot reasons
He dosent like needles(Even though he has tattoos and has been seen getting blood drawn)
He's superstitious :beat:
He's a grown friggin man with a 40 million payday on the horizon and he's begging off a thorough drug test even though he has accomplished the impossible and defies natural logic in his career and stature, oh and by the way he happens to flourish in the steroid era!!

At this point if Pac was on steroids he should do what a smart backed up criminal would do. Since he has never been caught he should stay off the steroids, take the tests, test clean, and get whooped by PBF. Plus, its boxing and he could always land that lucky shot. At least his past will look clean and his past success will appear confirmed clean. It would be a sacrificial loss. Because what his team is doing right now this is looking really bad. Pac needs to hire a strategist at this point.
A very good article with a couple of credible specialists talking. If ever PAcman backs off, I will seriously wonder for the rest of my life, especially as he agrees to be tested by needle... but not one week before the fight:S

Bud.Case you missed it I said both camps.Every man should be held accountable and even attempting to 'sweep' this affair under the rug would be damn near impossible.Press, reps and more so the fans wont allow it.As it should be.Trust me this will be headlines hence forth.Too much grand standing and drama in the sport today.Frankly not swayed by fanhood regarding one fighter or the other here.
My point is more accurately that at last count their are no less then 17,18 threads relating to a Mayweather/Pacquiao/doping issue here, front page and how its turning a huge opportunity for public consumption into a sideshow spectacle.Merry Christmas also.

PBF, scared as he is against Pac, is taking advantage of the situation.
I just don't know what they will do next after Pac accept their term of random drug testing.
Ohhh, let me guess.....
More excuses?:-\
Probably the first semi-sensible post you've made. I'm right with you there buddy. I hope Pacquiao accepts the USADA testing and fights, when we know that it's fair.
Re: Vivek Wallace and his opinion on Pac Mayweather.
You know what, I would love it if Floyd just said, "fine..have it your way - No drug tests".
Then proceeded to whoop that stupid fucker from pillar to post. I'm sick of camp Pacquaio and this idiotic notion that they are all halo-wearing, angelic, charitable human beings who would never dream of cheating.
Their excuses always suck, their demands are ALWAYS ridiculous and then they come out smelling out of roses? Fcuk Pacquaio, Roach and Ariza.
If I was Floyd, I'd accept the fight - because you know damn well if Mayweather beats Pac who has already convinced everyone he is on gear by not agreeing to tests, Pacquaio's whole legacy is destroyed and Floyd goes down as one of the absolute best for beating the P4P Gear Monkey, naturally.
Re: Vivek Wallace and his opinion on Pac Mayweather.
why are all these pactardos so adamantly opposed to pacquiao taking a blood test? because they are afraid the truth will come out and pacquiao's legacy will be tarnished and ruined forever! these are the same people who built him up to be this mythical, indestructible God-like figure who was the Lord and Savior of their poor third world country who can barely feed themselves, are riddled with massive government corruption and need massive international aid just to function as a country. yes, these pactardos are now in a life or death situation and would do anything to preserve his already badly tarnished reputation.
