That starfish ain't helping....but even without conclusive proof that Global Warming is #1 Man made and #2 the SOLE reason why the Great Barrier Reef is dying then I suppose we'll just go with "Man Made Global Warming/Cooling/Climate Change"....why??? ....the Great Barrier Reef also got it's feelings hurt when someone in Australia said something negative about Radical Islam and so it's dying of Global Warming/Cooling/Climate Change AND a broken heart. And because of that THE GOVERNMENTS of the World should tell me, you, and everyone else how much heat to use, how much A/C to use, they should take away our cars, they should kill us off so that animals should live....because "In Government We Trust" they NEVER get it wrong, they never tried to manage animal populations at Yellowstone and royally fucked up, the Government of Australia NEVER loaded poisoned carrots on to bombers and dropped them over their vast forrests to get rid of rabbits causing the deaths of any number of other indigenous animals.....but we trust the government to fix the Great Barrier Reef even if it will cost us our money and our rights, liberties, and freedoms

Yep we got them,man bought them over here in the ballast of ships true now the reef is more exposed to UVA and UVB than it is usually . 50/50.
I know its a tax rort Lyle I know that already but it doesnt make whats happing to the planet (which hasnt ever happened to the planet beofre in these volumes a goverment ploy.
They are using it as a ploy. And I belive we as humans are creating the majority of these problems. They are not naturally occurring in these threatening volumes.They may occur on little scales and nature can adapt to those and has in the past, but whats happening now is massive mate irreparable,but may be stemmed by us is all.
Ice snapping off the size of countries and floating towards Australia? Its a pretty big one too and no coincidence that the ozone hole is right above it.

The Climate isn't a constant thing Andre and furthermore who the hell are we to say where it should be? As I have pointed out before, when man tries to control nature no one usually ends up winning. Warm cycles and Cold cycles happen...H2O is a greenhouse gas too but I guess we won't start hearing about how freaking awful that is until we have hydrogen powered cars

Andre, listen....I am 100% for helping the environment but what I am opposed to is the black and white certainty in which these guys like Al Gore speak with. Al Gore and his like LOVE to say "The debate is over"

....why would someone like Al Gore who HAS to be interested in the science of this situation be so quick to say "The debate is over"? Well that's simple, because there's money in it for him, there's millions if not BILLIONS of dollars in all this "Green" bullcrap and Carbon Offsets for Al Gore and tot tell you the truth Al Gore has not given ANYONE an answer to solve this issue because for him no answer exists outside his green products and Carbon offsets.
I might add as well that Carbon Offsets should just be labled "Indulgences" because that's exactly what they are! The Carbon Offset program is 100% identical to the Catholic Church allowing for it's higher class members to purchase their ticket to heaven with money and not a life devoted to the Lord.

Well put it this way Lyle.
If there were zero humans on earth, nature would be allot more balanced.
I actually think we will lose rain fall into the subterranean caverns that we create through our unnatural extractions of stuff too.That hasnt been mentioned yet by our so called experts.
There has only been a certain amount of h2o on the planet since day one and it is recycled through life and death and many other ways; we cant make more in large volumes we can only seek and take and recreate what we observe with cloud seeding etc.
Oil is a natural coolant,everything that is on or in Earth is there for good reason.
We are still ripping down forests,raping oceans, polluting the air.
hunted out some species ,taken land over from others who have ceased to exist,the list goes on and on.Agricultre and forrestation that has caused seasonal changes like the Elnino effect,next comes the reversing of ocean currents and that is change.
Nature will get the clue that its better off without certain types of life forms_humans, its a system that wins even at the expense of what we believe as Utopia ( at its expense, as in expiry.)
Look at mars that's our near future.

Natural evolution would do it too within its own timing on a lesser scale so that the whole globe balances .What we have achieved in a couple of hundred years out of billions is a different matter.

Life is violent...that's the facts plenty of species have died out with 0 human involvement or cause. Life without humans could be just as bad as it is right now or even worse for some species but life goes on as well.

But I wont be blaming anyone except us as a whole; from our infatuation with material objects above each other,to the greed at others expense, oil extraction all the way down the ladder.
One things for certain, cows are doing better globally.
Humans are doing better in numbers globally too but dont hold your breath on those numbers.
