I doubt it will be Edwin Valero he can't even fight in the USA, with all his problems. And with all the medical problems he has, i can't see him fighting in the long term.
Timothy Bradley/Devon Alexander one of them will be P4P star. But its basically who wins between them when they fight, because there the best Jr Welterweights out there at the moment.
Valero has been given the ok to fight in Texas.
As to the question of who will be p4p king? geezus that's tough, but the winner of the Super Six will have a hell of a resume.
That's useless without a Visa. Valero is denied entry to the US, because of a drunk driving charge in Texas.
P4P, 4 - years I'd say Juan Ma is in a good spot for that.

lopez-gamboa will be the pacquiao-marquez of future years!!
Re: who will be the p4p king 4 years from now?
I'd go with Chad Dawson from the list, but Andre Ward overall.
Ward will move up and beat Dawson in 2012 to become the p4p champ.

I think both Dirrell & Ward would beat Dawson if they ever move up.
I pick Gamboa simply because he is the more exciting fighter. I would of picked Bradley but something tells me he is itching to move up to 147 which IMO will be bad.

Bradley is a solid fighter but no way do I see greatness in him. I can't imagine he'd ever get close to the level of a Mayweather, Pacquaio, Mosely or even Cotto.
He's a solid world champ and capable of being a Ring champ or undisputed at 140 but he's not beating the best guys at welterweight which is what he'd need to do to get anywhere near p4p number 1 in the world.
He has the potential to be on the level maybe of a Hatton, Corales or Castillo imo, i.e a worthy opponent for a p4p number 1 guy, but he's getting exposed if he meets them.

Yeah, in a round-about-way I agree wit ya.
Re: who will be the p4p king 4 years from now?
Yuriorkis will at least be a quadruple champ by that time, 126,130,135 and 140 lbs. Maybe even 147, he is definitely small for that weightclass though like Manny.

Ive been saying this from the very 1st time ive seen gamboa
He just has the structure of a natural welterweight. It bodes well for him now that he can make 123/124pounds when required because eventually when he does move through the weights he`ll be able to allign himself as a multi weight world champion

Nope it'll be the same in 4 years as it is now. Floyd mayweather.

Yeah I immediatley thought Devon. He's certainly going to be in big fights. He is the unified champ but he's calling the challengers out. You dont often see that. I expect good things from him. He can move and bang. Good mix for whatever style he comes up against.

Re: who will be the p4p king 4 years from now?
Of those mentioned, it's likely to be either Dawson or Gamboa. However, neither of those guys are that young & 4 years is a very long time in boxing. Alexander, Ward & Dirrell are distinct possibilities if one of them wins the super-six. The thing is the P4P rankings are invariably US-dominated (or certainly dominated by fighters who've fought on US TV), otherwise I'd make an argument that if Hasegawa can deliver on the promise he's shown, he could well be up there, he's already in my top 10.
Re: who will be the p4p king 4 years from now?
I say Berto. I see Andre losing sometime in the next 4 years and coming back as an even more formidable force. He'll eventually lure Bradley up to Welter, have a FOTY and collect 3 of the 4 major titles, including linear championship.
Re: who will be the p4p king 4 years from now?
Gamboa is the most exciting and complete fighter I have seen up and comming for a long time.

Yeah I agreed. I think Alexander has the most potential based on age, style and ability.
