Ok... and what say you in regards to his goofy face? Any thoughts or concerns?
Gotta say he could do with a bit of a nose size reduction, if that thing gets cut open he'll probably bleed to death. Otherwise i have no thoughts on the matter!! ;D
indeed. Well played, sir.

Gotta admit the whole bike being stolen thing is kind of familiar. Anyone ever heard why a certain Cassius Clay started boxing??

Yeah I do remember Ali saying that as a kid someone stole his bike and he swore to whup the guy or never let it happen again etc. I had a house party I didn't really intend to have a little over five years ago when I was finishing high school and my dad was out of townl, and all these shady types about the age I am now starting showing up, sure enough the next day I checked the garage and my mountain bike was gone, I had put well over 2000 dollars into the freaking thing, all my savings and then some. Perhaps not quite as scarring as being robbed point blank, but it REALLY sucked! Aside from not growin up a poor black kid in the southern states during the 1950's, I share his pain entirely;D

Miranda's story is a rough one, absolutely heartbreaking. Kassim Ouma as well who has a very tough life being raised during a genocide and all.
I know Froch isn't even playing at having it rough though.

I can't believe he made it out of there alive. Thats why he's so damn tough, they actually made him go to public schools. His dad was real strict, damn. Hopefully he can use it as motivation to never go back to that horrible place.

I don't think Froch's upbringing was that hard going on what he was saying, but having said that I am sure he had his share of rough moments like a lot of British kids do. I don't really see the big issue with what he was saying. Bikes do get stolen and kids do get into fights. You should fight for your bike, though I always made sure I had a lock. It makes life that bit easier. I admit that I did cringe a little when he was talking about blacks and mixed race people, but he was answering the question and that might well be his perception. I've never been to Nottingham, but I'm sure there are some ethnic minorities causing social problems. But you also know there are a lot more white people doing exactly the same things. So, yeah, that bit was a bit shakey, but on the whole I don't see the big deal. Froch always comes across to me as quite funny, but in a wholly unintentional way. He has the touch of Alan Partridge about him. He will say things and it will just crack me up.

Most boxers have tough up bringing this is mild in comparison to most of them.

Rumor is Calzaghe stoled it and pawned it to get some coke. He had to support his early habit.

I don't really think it is a big deal to anyone Miles, it's just some good material to have a laugh and make a few jokes. :)

I'd like to apologize on behalf of all ethnic minorities for inhibiting Mr Froch's upbringing. That has to be the most cringe-worthy comment from any boxer in recent memory. I actually appreciate that Froch is making every effort to make me dislike him that much more, I don't think anyone thinks that comment makes him a racist, but it certainly makes him a moron :)
As for the idea that Nottingham isn't a rough city :rotflmao:
Is that why it's known as 'Shottingham'? ;D
