He gave the addresses to their homes to the media, why would he do that if he wasn't hoping some radical would act upon it? He also said that he was proud of what Bin Laden has done for their religion.. Why are Bin Laden supporters, you know, the #1 wanted man on the FBI list, IN NEW YORK?!
Muslim or Islamic people or whatever, that are not fundamentalists/radicals/extremists need to speak up on this.. If we think that these guys are giving the religion a bad rap, then they should do something about it and speak up.. Or are they also afraid that they will be targets of religious war?
What a stupid thing to say. Just because Gary Glitter is paedophile, it doesn't mean every white man needs to speak out against it, just like every Christian doesn't need to speak out about the acts of terrorism that have been carried out by Christians.
The thing is, you don't have the bigger picture of what happened before 9/11. I'm not saying the Muslims on MuslimRevolution do, but the media in other countries, especially countries which are predominantly Muslim will have their own agenda and as such will most likely report the terror attacks in a completely different light. So you have to respect that people from the other side of the world are just as likely to be manipulated by their media in much the same way as we are in the US and the UK.
It's not as crystal clear as saying we're the good guys and they're the bad guys unfortunately.
EDIT: Can i just say, that anybody who is proud of what any terrorist did is a fuckwit, just like anybody who is proud of us invading another country where thousands of innocent people have died. I also feel i need to point out to certain adults on here that you shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush. Every religion has it's nutcases so please be aware that since we are in a war with a predominantly Muslim country, we are not going to see positive reports on Islam as a religion.
just admit it, i already know its you george

Yes and there are SOME nutty Christians, but they don't go around blowing shit up (bar abortion centers, which is frowned upon and punished by our government and culture) and cutting people's heads off. You never hear of other lesser religions going on jihads or whatever the equivilent of that is for whatever religion we're talking about. The last "crusade" the Christians went on was in the 1200's!!!
You cannot just blame this shit on "Oh their culture is different" because the type of people that do this shit have killed people and will do it again and I for one am fucking tired of it.
South Park showed Jesus crapping on the American flag in the episode they were prevented from showing Muhammad in and guess what.....no death threats from Christians
Muslims need to get a fucking grip on reality
How do you know? Did you check every Christian Internet forum? I mean this beauty of a quote was found on one.
It isn't a death threat. It's somebody saying they wouldn't be surprised if something happened to them. The author didn't state his intention to kill the creators of South Park. Even if he did,
it's one person and it's no different to an idiot commenting on a Youtube video
Hmm.. didn't you claim comments on youtube prove Amir Khan's popularity has suffered due to racism?
No i may have used it as an example, but it's very different, as Khan's videos seem to attract pages upon pages of racial slurs, posted by supposedly normal people, who supposedly have a passing interest in Boxing. Wheras, the report in the OP's article was referencing a quote made by one member of a very specifc Islamic movement forum in retaliation to a sensitive sketch that was to be aired in a South Park episode.
IIRC what i said about Khan was that from viewing youtube comment sections, various Boxing and other sporting forums, and my experiences of watching Khan in public venues show me that there is an element of racial dislike. I never at any point implied that everybody who dislikes Khan is a racist.
The point i was trying to make was that not every Muslim will have found it offensive and not every Muslim will want to decapitate the creators of South Park, which by the way is something that shouldn't need saying, but apparently it did.
Re: muslim fury over south park episode
Abul Ala Maududi is supposed to be a "radical Muslim", but just how radical is he?
I mean, has anybody seen him on a skateboard?
