Re: So, Adamek as a heavyweight
Besides a few in the early-middle, I thought Arreola lost every round.

A few years back on ESP2 there was a fighter that needed his shoes taped up because he had no traction. I forgot who it was, but I'm pretty sure we talked about it on here.
Not the same, but still...

More than a few years ago...
Found an article. I hadn't joined the site yet it seems.
Pacquiao wins a super featherweight title - Boxing - ESPN

That was really unbelievable.Navarro punched the canvas and demanded to be counted out, mimicked the ref almost as he counted him out.Just nuts.Saw a Japanese Cruiserweight years ago,Nishinjima or something who used to wear 'slippers' ??? Some type of gear they used over there, one toe and looked soft all over.Weirdest thing.

This was his last ever boxing match - a devasting second round TKO to Cecil McKenzie in 2003. ;D

Apparently he debuted in mma at Pride 31 - and got knocked out there too. His mma record is 0-5.

He should probably knock it on the head now.
Re: So, Adamek as a heavyweight
Oh thats nasty...especially to a rising McKenzie :fight:.Had not seen him since win at the L.A Forum vs Aguilar in 95' but always looked to take some shots, not shy about trading from the few I viewed of him. That Milligan fight when he was just starting was brutal war.Dropped ugly in the 1st,2nd and wobbled bad then bounced back to drop opponent, only to lose dec. Just another brick in the road of so many never to be's.Thanks for the info, wraps it up nice.Never knew he lost 5 in mma..ouch!!!
Re: So, Adamek as a heavyweight
he is a solid top 5 HW. would love to see him fight Haye, as that would be the most exciting HW fight in decades..:happy0931sb4:
Re: So, Adamek as a heavyweight
Let Haye finally put up against one of the Klits and give him either Chagaev or Chambers. I wouldn't be mad at a Arreola rematch either.
