Re: So you're Man City, money is no object - who do you buy?
What I do find pretty amazing is after spending over £140 million on strikers (Robinho, Santa Cruz, Bellamy, Adebayor, Benjani, Caciedo, Bojinov and Tevez, which I'm sure are all still on City's books (not sure how much Tevez actually cost but there have been figures of £45 million+ put about) that your still in the market for a striker!! Liverpool's first team of...Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Aurelio, Maxi, Mascherano, Aquilani, Gerrard, Kuyt and Torres still comes no where near that figure. You could still even chuck in Skrtel, Kyriagkos, Insua, Lucas, Benayoun, Riera and N'Gog and still fall short of that figure.

@ Big H...I couldn't dream of putting Cole (that little c*nt) in my team. I did my best not to let personal feelings get in the way of an unbiased view but he's the exception....oh and Gary Neville but it was a world's best X1 so...:p

Amazes me how people think Cole is the best left back in the world - Evra has been voted the best in his position for the last three years in this country, has actually won a lot of silverware, is oustanding every week and yet the ABU's rate him over Evra. It's laughable. ;D

I hate Cashley and contrary to some people I am an Everton supporter, but the geezer is in a different league to Evra or anybody else in that position imo.

Bojinov, Benjani, Caicedo and Jo we're all bought pre - takeover. Tevez was around £26m.
Santa Cruz was one of the reasons Hughes was sacked. His medical records showed that he still had a problem so the transfer was initially rejected at board level. Hughes eventually got his way and Santa Cruz repaid him by being constantly injured.

Says the person who just made the ridiculous statement. In what ways is Cole 'in a different league' to Evra? I'd love to hear the justification...;D

Yeah it's fair enough having opinions but ,of course, you gotta have some justification behind it - so how is Cole 'in a league of his own exactly?

Because In my opinion I think he's better. How can you prove/justify it? It's subjective, an opinion!
I think Cole is better than Evra, you don't so what!

Fair enough just wanted to hear your reasoning behind it, that's all. Geez.
