I feel strongly about the Palestinian situation, I've taken several courses on it because of that interest, but you're just being an asshole with that statement. Not that it surprises me all that much. I hope you just don't have any idea how offensive that would be to any Jewish members of this forum, but I suspect that is not the case. Israel, while a repressive state, isn't even in the same universe as Nazi Germany and only an idiot would think that it was.

I'm quite aware of how verbose my statement was, but Israel is currently in the process of ethnically cleansing a region. They have their own huge concentration camp of people. There are obvious parallels to be made. A lunatic state can be compared with other lunatic states.

Mayo and Turkey on flatbread is delicious. That is all.

I fight ninjas in my dreams... To be go honest it's a bit of a mismatch... Me, a 200lb 6"1' dude and them being.... Ninjas. I never win. How is this relevent? It is't. You're welcome.
Re: The new home for the political stuff in the Cotto-Foreman thread is here
I'm not comparing Sweden to Nazi Germany because Sweden holds itself up to pretty decent standards. Israel time and again shows itself as a rogue state.
I will concede that I have been a bit mean regarding Foreman. He might well be a lovely chap, but when it comes to this fight I hope Cotto does a number on him. It's petty and trite, but that's the way I am feeling. Honestly, a week ago I couldn't care less who won, but this is my way of getting into things.
Re: The new home for the political stuff in the Cotto-Foreman thread is here
I'm tired of all this US-Israel-Foreman stuff now. It's worn me out and I don't care about it that much anyway. Everyone is calling me Hitler and an arsehole and I don't like that too much. It's just a silly boxing match. It's not exactly Louis/Schmeling and of course fighters don't neccessarily reflect the views of the political elite anyway.
I'm going to go and have a rest.
Re: The new home for the political stuff in the Cotto-Foreman thread is here
And a final point, I am very much the anti Hitler. I rail against fascism everyday on this site and I rail against what Israel does because what they do is inhumane, it's that simple. I am sometimes prone to making arrogant angry statements though which might make me seem like an arse to some, but I am really quite lovely.

I think I love you
So what am I so afraid of?
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of
A love there is no cure for

I went for a walk and the sun is shining and people are going about their business. It's all rather nice. As a result my head has cleared and my internal rage has subsided somewhat.
I take back any negative comments I may have made about Yuri Foreman. I can't really hate on any fighter other than Amir Khan. It's just not fair. I guess I just got rather upset by the flotilla attack and went on the warpath. The red mist behind the eyes and all of that. I still hope that Cotto wins and I hope that Foreman doesn't lose any teeth. Knowing my picks this probably means Foreman wins by decision. I can live with that.

Lol what the fuck has happened to Miles? ;D
Re: The new home for the political stuff in the Cotto-Foreman thread is here
I think the flotilla business gave me a funny turn. I was frothing at the mouth and raging like a mad one for a bit. I've calmed down now, it's all out of my system. I think I just needed to get all the bile out and Yuri Foreman became the unfortunate target. He has really done nothing wrong.

Has your stance on the flotilla as a purely humatarian aid convoy changed in the light of what we know now?

I haven't watched the video you posted yet, but will do so. I must point out before watching it that I don't regard Fox as a credible news service nor Glenn Beck as a credible journalist, but I will watch it and give my views tomorrow. I'm definitely staying off of the topic for today though.

I am sure you are aware of this, but disliking Israeli politics and disliking Jews are two entirely different things. The statement about not liking Foreman because he is training to become a rabbi falls under the latter category. What if he was training to become a Rabbi in the US or the UK and has nothing to do with Israel?

haha fair enough, Mr Beck is not an easy man to like. Peter Hitchens blog on the mail is good as is Melanie Phillips in the Spectator.
There are tons of videos online showing the true nature of those on board, for example this clip. Do these look like peaceful humanitarians to you?
