Hes got to fight one good fight, attract more attention to him self, make the fight look spectacular, which will draw more crowds, sponsors, coverage, and more importantly what the Bro's want the most...United state respect and recognition.
There is with out a doubt the #1 goal of any boxer is to fight in NYC stadium, or rather any United states Atheletic arena to a full, sold out show with 60-80k in attendance, and this will not happen with just the Klit bro alone, and quite frankly Haye has not created a big splash yet state side.
Lenox lewis had to go through hell and back to gain the respect and recognition in the states and in my opion hes by far way more talented than Hayes is
Obviously not been doing your research, Haye v Valuev did 800,000 ppv buys in the uk at £15.00 a pop, so that fight alone without HBO did £12 million quid. So there is the reason Haye is a big draw.
I wasn't aware of that. Do you mind providing me with the link to a source? I wanted to show this to a few buddies of mine.
But what ever the case is, From a financial point of view Hayes may be a prospect for a 50/50 but there lies one problem, and thats what happens when or if Klit knocks him out or wins.
Hayes career will be in jeapordy with out a doubt, and hes fully aware of that in my opinion, Im sure who ever is advising the man, told him listen you need to build up your carrer and etc.
Think about it?
your Hayes, youve ran your mouth so much and promoted, only to lose. Not as history has proven Oscar boy, has put on crappy fights each and every time he promotes a fight for him self and they were all major fights. (regardless of excuses) but what holds up oscar is the fact that hes got a strong base in the states!
Mike tyson said David hayes is not ready for the Klit Bros and should focus on building his career state wide, which I agree on.

Thats the reason that they won't let him have all the British TV money now too. Funny how they agreed to that when it was only Setanta he was with and not Sky.
50/50 is very fair acoross the board mate, Haye and Booth have obvisouly been taken a back by how much they can make through brand Haye and no that would be burst by fighting Klits, so they are pussying out for sure so they can make a few more big money fights wihtout much danger.
Yeah not denying that skel, I am a big Haye fan and I am disappointed in him not taking this deal myself, but I'm just pointing out that last year the Klits wanted Haye to just take the British TV rights and they take all German etc. Now they won't accept that and want to put it all in one pot and split it, according to schaefer that is why the deal broke down.
That's it exactly. Haye is a bigger moneymaker than the "brothers" and now they're desperate to get their sewn-on hands on half of the Sky money that a fight with Haye would gross. Haye can make more money than them in the meantime while he waits for them to accept his offer. He's in the driving seat on this one.

Backwards thinking as always
When has Chicken Little fought in front of 50-60,000 fans? Wlad and Vitali are established brands and they have proven they are the class of the division based on the FACT that they duck no one and look to fight the best available opponents. Certainly we can't say the same for Chicken Little...doubtful he'll pay out better for title shots as well. Right now in the division challengers can either take the easy road to a title or fight THE MAN of the division....we'll see what class of opponents live in the same dream world you and Chicken Little do and accept smaller purses for a smaller reward
Re: Haye offered 50/50 to fight Wladimir
It would be good move to accept the 50, but a bad move to step in the ring!

Haye could easily put 80,000 in Wembley and he makes more money than the Klits FACT. Just fucking accept the fact that Haye is a draw Lyle, you don't have to like the guy but you can't deny he's got some pulling power when it comes to selling PPV's and putting arses on seats. I went to his last fight and the MEN was packed out and the atmosphere was electric. The Klit crowds are just boring Germans who think that a sports arena should sound like a library.
Who was it that HBO said is the only Klit fight they want to televise?? Haye! Because they know it is the one HW fight that interests the world and Haye is just about the only HW around now who is in decent shape and is given a chance of causing the Gay brothers some problems. People want to see the boring fuckers battered, and many feel the same about Haye but for different reasons. Haye is hated for his trash talk and the Klits have bored many boxing fans away to the UFC.

You're kidding right? When has YOUR BOY ever come close to putting that many people in a stadium? In his last 3 heavyweight fights I've read reports for crowds around the following sizes: 17,000 vs Barrett, 10,000 vs Valuev, 18,000 vs Ruiz....even if we round all of those up to 20 or even 25,000, hell let's round up to 30,000 it still doesn't match what Wlad does. In his last 2 fights Wlad has had: 55,000 and 51,000 respectively AND added to which he pulled in 3 million plus GERMAN viewers for the Chagaev fight.
I'm also glad people in England are dumb enough to pay money to watch a "businessman" box vs no hopers...that's quite a gig your boy has going.
Re: Haye offered 50/50 to fight Wladimir
I'm no fan of Haye, I think he's shit scared of the Klits becuase he knows it's the end of his career when he fights either. BUT if he fought either it would draw a huge stadium crowd in the UK

There was 20,000 in MEN for Ruiz fight. That was it's capacity. I don't know about the German venue but everywhere he fights in England now is a sell out. Believe it or not Lyle thats all you can do is fill a venue. And like I said he would put 80,000 in wembley too.
And as far as boxing no hopers, Ruiz could easily be argued as being a better opponent than anyone Wlad has ever fought.
Re: Haye offered 50/50 to fight Wladimir
You think that the John Ruiz that was 38 years old and 3-3 in his last 6 fights "could easily be argued as being a better opponent than anyone Wlad has ever fought"? I don't speak for everyone else, but I have to disagree I think Wlad has fought some dangerous and very difficult opponents.

Oh here we go..... Tony "the Gay Tiger" Thompson. The second greatest HW in history after Wlad of course. Yes it was an epic battle and a really tough challenge. Anyone who thinks it was a boring fight between 2 scared bitches who were too frightened of being KO'd just know nothing about boxing ???

Chagaev, Ibragimov and Chambers were much more of a threat than Ruiz at this stage of his career and the sole fact that Haye got rocked bad by a washed up Barrett should raise a lot of question marks. Beside, I don't believe Haye would fill Wimbledon at all otherwise they would have thrown him in there against Valuev.
p:s there was never 20 000 for the Ruiz fight, Lyle's correct, it was 18 000 David Haye vs John Ruiz - Fight Report

Good you've decided to be sarcastic and demeaning for a second there I thought you were going to try and explain what made Nicolay Valuev so great or how Monte Barrett had just reached his peak when he fought Chicken Little as opposed to being young and inexperienced when he fought Wladimir.
Tony Thompson is a decent fighter he had only lost 1 time before he fought Wlad and that was in his 5th fight. But I was thinking more along the lines of undefeated Ruslan Chagaev, Sam Peter, etc.
But whatever, I guess I'll just be happy Wlad never has to set foot in the ring with the likes of Enzo Maccarinelli (ooooh scary scary)

When was Haye badly rocked against Barrett? He slipped at one point and got hit whilst he was on the floor. He then got up and finished the fight. I wish the retards on here would watch fights rather than just read Lyle's bullshit reports on fights.
