Everything happens for a reason.
Haye wasn't happy with all the clauses and shit that the klits were putting into contracts so he's said fuck you I can make money else where. And thats exactly what he's doing.
There is an element of danger in this fight cuz if audley gets that luck punch and KO's Haye, then it really is all over. This is an everything to lose and nothing to gain fight. Haye should win it though and within the first 4 rounds.
No Audley doesn't deserve a title shot, but then neither does shannon briggs, Chris Arreola, Sam Peter (after already squandering two chances by not even bothering to get in shape), sosnowski, Eddie chambers..... I really could go on....

You are in cloud cuckoo land. Each of those fighters bolded above has achieved FAR beyond what Audley ever has in the pro ranks. The simple facts are that Haye has talked smack, backed out of fights against the Klits and instead of fighting anyway half way decent, has now decided to fight Audley Harrison. The guy is a sham and you don't need to wait until his career is over to come to that kind of conclusion.

A 50/50 split with no futures was a good reason to duck the person you made your name calling out? Haye did was was good for him financially, because Wlad would likely (though not certainly) ruin him, but he destroyed his credibility in the process and turned many of the people who had been cheering for him (myself included after the Ruiz fight) against him.

i said in another thread months ago that i would not be surprised if this happened. David Haye's credibility is totally gone and its a complete slap in the face to true boxing fans. Anyone who spends their hard-earned cash to watch this needs to give their head a good shake. A total and utter disgrace. I cant wait to hear Hayes spin on this, i really cant. They are taking people on.

What annoys me is it is the fight that Sky want him to take too. I mean Haye should bowl Audley over in the first 2 rounds and the undercard will be shit shit and yet we'll have to pay £15 for it. Lets just hope Manny - Marg has more to offer than it perhaps should.

Audley was not ranked in the top 20 by any of the Rnaking bodies but as soon as the Haye match was coming along nicely he miraculously appeared in the top ten for the WBA.

...the way boxing works is that fighter A that's ducking fighter B until the money is "right" gets stopped by some shmuck before the "megafight" happens....that's the way boxing works. I think Niko's girl is right but still, it's kind of ridiculous nonetheless. It's pretty much been broken promise after broken promise from Haye since he fought Enzo. I think if Wlad would have offered to fight him on that escalator during their first confrontation, Haye would have found a way to say that that escalator just wasn't right and he would rather fight in a escalator where more people could watch and one that moved down instead of up. It's nuts, this thing just needs to happen.
However, after Haye blitzes Harrison (haha @ anyone giving Harrison even the slightest of chances), there will be plenty of people criticizing him in this thread and others who will then give Haye a better shot to beat Wlad if they ever meet.
