Cortez got elbowed because Maidana was getting frustrated with the quick breaks. If your an inside fighter you definately dont want Cortez as the ref.

Mares was surprisingly the more aggressive fighter throughout and he took Vic's best punches (what a chin), Mares deserved the win and i think he will beat Agbeko. I would like to see him fight Vic again. I am now a Mares fan!Quote:
