Unlike Ice I think junior welter is why Zab should be. The fights he was losing at welterweight were to bigger guys who just outstrenghted him, and he faded down the stretch.
Mayythyse was a big junior welter with a very strong physical presence and again Zab, after winning most of the early rounds faded.
It's hard to imagine Zab being able to fight hard for 12 rounds. I've always thought of him as being like Victor Ortiz (or rather Ortiz being like Judah) in that he wilts under pressure. Faced with a tough challenge he stops punching and imo looks for a way out.
Khan never does that and that will mean he's likely to finish stronger imo.
Judah's best shot will be inside the first 4-6 rounds, after that it's likely to be all Khan.
As Khan is a pretty fast starter himself it's going to be hard for Zab to make any impression on this fight imo.
He has to land something big and hurt Khan early, or else he's just getting another beating from a bigger, stronger, younger, hungrier guy.
I think Khan wins late.
I think Khan stops him late on aswell. Having said that, Khan can surprise early on, so who knows. I'll just go with a Khan stoppage win. Judah has a chance if Khan gets wild and doesn't judge the distance quick enough. Should be fairly straight forward for him though. Too much output. Judah is 'wilty' for want of a better word.
Amir Khan always gets wild.
That's true, he can look a little clumsy and off balance at times. If he keeps this to a minimum, he should have few problems here though.
One thing that was clear to me in the Marcos Maidana fight, was that Amir Khan would often go off balance when throwing combinations. Something Manny Pacquiao also did early in his career.
Marcos Maidana couldn't take advantage of that, because he isn't fast enough. So im just wondering if Zab Judah can with his speed and countering abilities.
It's no secret Zab Judah isn't a top fighter anymore, and is just a gatekeeper now. But he still has some attributes to trouble Amir Khan.
And another thing to point out is how many Southpaw's has Amir Khan fought ? if any ? because i can't remember any at the moment. I know he spars with Manny Pacquiao, but it's totally different in a real fight.
Re: Judah says Khan v Judah is nearly a done deal
Judah will hunt in the first 2-3 rounds, where Freddy will instruct khan to jab, stay mobile, and tie up. Judah will lose interest and his eye should be swelled shut enough to take enough punches and have it stopped or throw in the towel at the end of the 8th or 9th
