Looks really wild western. Is that themed or is that design still going on all over?

The Dry Bean and the Chicken are part of a bar district across from Texas A&M University called Northgate. I tried finding a photo of the whole thing but I couldn't. There are a group of four bars that were the originals and still have a very early 20th century look. Most of the bars in Northgate don't look like something out of a western film though, but whats fun about that.;D

I think it looks great. I'd love to have a few there and shoot some pool.

Maybe a 10 pace stand off too!

Did any of you slackers click on the Portsea hotel link?.. those are the exact views we have when we sit out on the grass outside the bar in the sun. Tough life on a sunny day.

Yup i take a few classes at a&m n blinn. I like it here too. Northgate was insane when a&m beat nebraska.

Yeah LA is fun,been there in 86 I thought any place that has Mexican food for breakfast is bound to be fun and party hard. Went to one bar in LA a real old place right in the middle of it somewhere. Was on the south side of a large main street.
