IMO, matching Pacquiao in his next fight, it will serve Bob Arum's best interest to get fighters who actually want to fight! Sadly we are given hint that even a Pac-PBF fight is not a guaranteed exciting fight. If you get somebody against Pac who is not willing to man up atop the ring, then surely boxing fans are sure to be in for a huge letdown.

Floyd beat Mosley in Shane's first fight since he destroyed Tony, while Pacquiao picked him up after the loss to Mayweather and the lackluster draw against Sergio Mora :-X, i wonder who took the fight when Mosley's stock was higher...
it was a crap performance last night, and let's not try and change history both guys (Mayweather and Manny) probably could have stopped Shane but for whatever reason eased up on him in the last few rounds, Mayweather walked him down from the second half of the 2nd round onwards, neither guy outdid the other so stop trying to clutch at straws and give some fake edge to Manny who has now had two borefests in his last 3 fights

I don't know how anyone (outside of massive Pac nuthuggers) could call this a success.
It was a dumb fight to begin with, given Mosley's past two fights he had absolutely no reason to be in the ring with Pac, and the only way Pac could salvage some kind of moral victory would have been to completely destroy Mosley and be the first one to knock him out.
Awful fight.

Crap performance in which Manny drops Shane and has Shane calling him the best pound for pound fighter with the context of having already fought Mayweather. If we talk about borefests, feather-fisted, grab and hold Mayweather is the pound-for-pound king. These "fake edges" that you refer to is why Mayweather is crapping in his pants, making excuses, and won't fight him. Once Manny knocks off the "O" from Mayweather's record, he has little else to cling to except his money and all of his previous boring fights.

He completely destroyed Mosley, to the point that Mosley turned and ran like a scared little Mayweather and got knocked flat on his butt. After this, your boy Mayweather isn't going to fight Manny. He took a chance on the over-the-hill Mosley and nearly got knocked on his butt. He isn't going to take that risk against Manny.

in my mind there is a couple tinges that i think made the fight suck
From Mosely
He suffers the same thing ll old fighters suffer from, the diminish more mentally then they do physically, he just could not pull the trigger
Plus i think the headbutt followed by the knockdown, brought bah demons form the forrest fight and he jumped onhis bicycle
From manny
he seemed to have an off night, most fighters have an off night because the guy there fighting makes it so, this was not the case, they said manny was superstitious (has to goin the same car, same people etc etc,) i think that fender messed him a lil if u ask me, he didn't look as relaxed as he normally is
Plus he mentioned his legs, dunno what thats about, hope he is not getting old, but he said he suffered the same problem during marquez. Maybe we were witnessing manny without juice? jk..
This is all sad really because i picked shane to win, and honestly i am very disappointed, i feel he should have fought for greatness, he fought for a check, now outta of spite i am gonna go sleep with his girl ;D

Seriously, what did anyone really expect, Mosley looked like shit against Mayweather and Mora, so why would anyone believe he'd look any better against Pacquiao?

i don't give a flying fuck of either fighter, but it's retarded how Mayweather is the only one getting crap for this fight not being made when it still is both guys fault, and lets not forget Mosley had to once again take drug tests for last nights fight only thing is this time around his opponent didn't do the same, i found Mayweather/Mosley a hell of a lot more entertaining than last nights fight, so you can go ahead and try to burn the dude but fact is until they both drop their bullshit (catchweights, drug tests, and both taking a 50/50 split) than neither guy can actually put himself ahead of the other, all i know is that i said that this was a farce of a fight way back when it was first signed and well both guys just proved it last night, if anything the Arce/Vazquez Jr fight saved the card

Pacquiao froze every plan Mosely had against him to the point where all he could do was cycle back and clinch. Throughout the whole 12 rounds, he only threw one solid combination- a safe 1-2-3 that Pacquiao willingly blocked. Ultimately, it was a cute fight that could have aired off Disney with the amount of hugging and strengthened their friendship.

Did you notice how Mosley came out at the beginning of the 12th round and actually hugged Pacquiao? I thought I was going to up-chug the beer I just got through drinking, WTF was that all about. Fighters generally touch gloves at the beginning of the final round in big fights, but hugging your opponent?

Yeah, Mosley is to blame for not fighting. But at the same time Pac, Roach and Arum deserve to roast in the fiery cauldrons of hell for once again making a fight with someone who hasn't really earned it. I disagree. He looked like he wanted to win before he go dropped, his head was clear but check out his legs. He was wary of that straight hand and fair enough, he could have done more but what he should stand there and look to get stopped because armchair warriors didn't see blood. Tough shit.
I feel the same way. Mosley was for sure looking to win until he got dropped and hurt. Just like Cotto was looking to win until he got dropped and hurt. It's easy to say how one should fight Pacquiao from the safety of one's couch and not inside that ring fighting him.
If I was Mosley I would do the same thing and just go into survival mode instead of being like Hatton, laid out with doctors rushing in to the ring.
