Haye-Wlad - HBO Face Off Video

"Isn't there" meaning isn't in the same room. I guess the WBA title holder wants to feel like a blushing bride come fight night ;D

Honestly the 1st big punch that lands will be Wlad's jab (yes....JAB) and it'll evoke a "fight or flight" response where either Wlad will have to use some defense, break a clinch, or start to stalk down the pride wounded soon to be FORMER title holder.

I am anxious to see how the WBA title holder takes the right cross.....I'm guessing not well.

It was a good watch. I thought Wlad's attempted hand shake at the end was a brilliant move. It clearly caught Haye off guard. Made him look like a scared bitch when he refused to shake it

The guy puts sentences together like he has high functioning autism or something.

I think he's attempting to make some sort of point that Haye isn't notable enough for Lyle to even acknowledge his name.

Unfortunately it just comes off as if Haye is so notable to Lyle (I was going to keep referring to Lyle as 'The boxing message board account holder' but I got bored after doing it twice... so I have to give Lyle props for staying power and consistency I suppose...) finds Haye so notable that he is willing to dedicate extra time and effort to typing about him.

I think it's more to do with the fact that Haye is speaking with colloquial English... whilst Wlad is speaking with textbook English.

If you are educated to speak a language, rather than immersed in a language and culture during your upbringing then of course you are going to speak it more purely.

Miles I'm assuming that being an English teacher, you already knew this... so I really don't see your point. I agree that the fact that English isn't Wlad's first language matters when assessing whether he is shook/shaken/shooken (:P) by Haye, as for Haye's grasp of English? It's completely irrelevant and just screams a bit of snobbery to be honest.

You guys have forgotten that I initially refused to call the WBA title holder by name because #1 He ducked out of the fight vs Wlad 2 years ago #2 He ducked out of a fight with Vitali after that #3 He kept on saying he was going to fight "a dangerous fighter" or "a big brand named fighter" and he fought: Monte Barrett, Nicolay Valuev, John Ruiz (mandatory), and Audley Harrison. It should be very telling when John Ruiz is the best heavyweight on your record! But to you Union Jack clad morons apparently those fights just prove how great this guy is :vd:

I refused to mention him by name UNTIL he either gets KO'd or fights a worthy opponent.....oh and what do you know, looks like both are coming up on July 2nd ;D

Its a respect thing and I don't respect what he's brought to the sport. If you talk trash you had better be ready to back it up! Audley fucking Harrison....good lord man, Wlad is just going to slaughter this fool!
