Right, at this point, I'm not even sure Haye can hang with, Povetkin, Arreola, Dimitrenko, Helenius, or Chisora, he needs to defeat some of these pugs, and work his way into contention. Enough of Haye getting title fights with his mouth, work for it like everyone else has to.Quote:

i agree with that. I always thought the last mobile vitali would be easier for haye to hit. Vitali also holds his gloves lower.
The only reason I can see for a rematch is that Wlad looked genuinely angry with himself because he didn't knock Haye out. That and a payday might be motivation enough. I'll not be watching it though. If Haye fights him 10 times he still loses.
I bet you will watch it if it happens.
The biggest problem Haye had with Wlad was reaching him to hit him. Vitali is even bigger than Wlad, and more accurate with his punches, it would be a fucking massacre, Vitali would finish the job his brother started, and the "HAREmaker" would barely land a glove on him.Quote:

The only Pugs that come to mind who've had much success getting clean flush shots in on Vitali were Lewis and Sanders. Vitali looks hittable, because he keeps his hands down at times, but he really isn't that easy to reach.Quote:

Wlad took a few good shots, I was impressed with how he dealt with it. I think that frustrated Haye as much as anything else.
Haye took punches better than I thought he would too, although I saw him get a little bandy legged a few times.
I don't believe Wlad was able to catch Haye with anything flush, or in the right spot, Wlad even said as much after the fight.Quote:

The Klits have taken on the same opponents many times to complete the jobs on fighters. And I dont think they consider the job truly complete until Haye is KO'd. Vitali has knocked out Purrity, Sanders, Peter after Wlad couldnt knock them out. Wlad took on Byrd who 'beat' Vitali and did him on points.
There is no point to a rematch. This was a huge letdown of a fight. The casual fan that bought into this fight being competitive won't fall for it a second time and most boxing fans don't want to see Haye near a boxing ring unless he's the promoter. More importantly, Haye just isn't a very good heavyweight and isn't near the level of a Wladimir Klitschko.
