Well I didn't get the job, but some consulation nor did the cunt and apprently he was never in the running.
The reason I didn't get the job is nearly as frustrating as that cunt trying to get the job. They issued a job spec and I tailored my interview and my presentation to be exactly what they were looking for (according to job spec) Leaving out lots of successes in other areas that I didn't think were as relevant. They subsequenty have decided that they now do not want what they asked for becuase they are 9 months behind being ready for that person (i.e me) and have gone with somebody with more experience in another area. The stupid thing is that this 'other area' is actually my main strength and where I have had massive successes. I didn't talk about these successes, because at the time they were not relevant and were not brought up at any stage of the interview process and these achivements were also removed from my CV by the recruitment firm, who 'taliored' the CV to the job sepc they were given
Whole thing's a joke. I've writtne to the employer and explained the predicament and advised them that they have made the wrong choice, won't do me any good now though :(

If you can come to the conclusion that we attract to ourselves exactly what we need to, in order to move in a certain direction, grow mentally, spiritually, test ourselves out or pay back past debts. It gives you the strength to deal with others crap or lifes hardships and then cease blame on external factors. Most people react to the larger energies around them, some even to the full moon, others to others intentions. It is giving away your real power letting them have any effect on your own position. That doesnt mean you shouldnt defend yourself physically, morally or verbally when it comes to it.

Got a job offer today. It's not really what I want and is about £10K less than it should be for the role, but at least it's an offer and will be money coming in. Will take it and keep looking for something else.
Strangely I don't feel that good, considering I have been boderline depressed for the past 4-5 weeks about being unemployed. Gonna sit and get pissed now and reflect.

At least you'll have some money coming in. You can always do this job while still looking for other employment on the side.
I'm starting to freak out about work too. I'll be finishing my current job in mid-August and moving to a different city. Originally, I was going to go back to school (I've been accepted into a program at UBC), but suddenly I'm not sure that's what I want to do, so I've been looking for work. It is fucking stressful.
I do have a bit of money saved up and a $10,000 line of credit that I have never touched, but I don't want to blow my savings and go into debt.
