Re: Pac vs cotto 2 - june 9
Now when it comes to Cotto/Marquez v. Pacquiao, I prefer Bradley or Peterson. Bradley sits atop the throne at 140, so it makes more sense if it was him, but Peterson is suddenly pretty marketable with his win over Khan. It's not that Cotto is a bad fight per se (he is the top ranked junior middleweight) but we've already seen it and I don't see the second fight going any different.

The whole negotiation saga in 2009 was them both being diva's trying to show the other who is boss with their demands. Nothing more, nothing less. If Pac agreed to the tests we would have had a fight. Do I blame him? Yes and no but my point is neither of these guys are afraid of each other. This fight hasn't happened either because of their ego's or simply Bob Arum. I really don't see how somebody can see it any other way. It's glaringly obvious
Fear of a person is not the problem. Nore is fear of getting hurt. The fear they both have is losing there status. Pacs past three performances have been sh*t where as Mayweathers have been brilliant. Now Pac pretty much looses to a man Floyd beat easily. You dont think this has anything to do with his sudden spout of bravery. It was only a little while ago when Floyd said he did not need to fight Pac. What happened to all that talk.
And why is Pac not accepting this challenge. He is still afraid of losing his status.
The fight would have been alot more competitive a couple of years ago. Im going for mayweather to win an easy decision now.
Re: Pac vs cotto 2 - june 9
If Pac vs Mayweather ever happens it will be around November. Its ridiculous for Mayweather to expect Pacquiao to drop everything and adjust just for him. Let Floyd fight in May and Pac in June. Floyd goes to jail gets out and they fight around November or December.

Yeah thats right peterson and pac..cant wait! Lol.
You on the top rank payroll?
You have your opinion. I have mine. Im no hater but i know what i see and the bottom line is manny needs floyd before he retires. I dont care about bob arum and dont assume you know my age and how we should all kiss bobs arse because hes been doing his job before we all were born! (check his past corrupt credentials on goggle)
You must give floyd props for leaving bob and doing his own thing in the prime of his career and still breaking records.
Why do you presume I'm a Manny Pacquiao fan or a Top Rank fan? I'm objective. I've documented my favorite fighters many times on Saddo and Manny Pacquiao does not appear on my list. Check my posts. Manny Pacquiao has done incredible things. He's a sure-shot HOF. Floyd has done incredible things as a boxer and he's a sure-shot HOF. Floyd happens to be a despicable human being outside of boxing so it's tough for me to root for him, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate what he does in the ring. Please understand that the risk/reward concept is nothing new. Both the Floyd team and the Manny team utilize it in choosing opponents. That is all.
Actually, Lamont Peterson and Timothy Bradley aren't bad choices at all for Manny's next fight if Floyd doesn't happen. For the record, I've said all along that Floyd beats Manny and I said it prior to Marquez 3. Styles make fights. I also said that Mayweather would have an easier time with Ortiz than Manny would with Marquez the third time. It's a styles thing.
The main reason I want Floyd/Manny--I don't believe the fight will be very competitive--is that so boxing fans like you who only tune in for the Floyd/Manny dialogue can move on. :o
