David Haye to fight on July 6th

Hey wait, not so fast!! WTF happened to Thompson-Wilder?!? You see.... THIS is what's wrong with the heavyweight division (well.... that, and the fact that the division just isn't worth a damn). These bozos spend their time posturing and "Twitter-ing" each other, but we're still not moving in any worthwhile direction. Meanwhile, the Klitschkos are not getting any younger, and Vitali is close to retirement. I imagine the brothers get together every once in awhile, and have a few laughs about the sorry state of the division and the lack of any real challenges on the horizon. Price was on his way up and got KO'ed by two-time loser (to Wlad) Thompson. Now all of a sudden everybody wants Thompson, thinking maybe it's a recognizable name and, well hey.... "he can be our next step up." But it all gets lost in the talk and the Twitter battles back and forth. Like the hopeless optimist most of us boxing fans are, I let myself get just a little bit excited about the prospect of Wilder-Thompson. And now it's off?!? It's like the division is bent on imploding.

it would suprise if they did, it would generate a lot of money in britain

Fury won't fight anyone who can beat him. He's a little bitch, all talk with nothing to back it up. Surprised he hasn't called out Floyd yet.

Shake off the rust, why fight a southpaw like Thompson when the guy he's aiming for is orth?

There is some truth in that, half of British boxing fans would love to see his smirk wiped off his face.

My favorite fighter is back. I hope he fights Tyson Fury.

Price just got stopped, it would be ideal for Haye to fight him now. No one to begin with and on a loss. Get tickets while you can!

I don't think Haye would fight Price, being friends and having used him as a sparring partner. In sparring Price makes sense in replicating the size of a Klitschko but getting straight back in with a big puncher would not make great sense for the big white scouse David. Would like to see the smaller black cockernee David smash the krap out of Fury though, unless Cunningham gets there first.

He won't fight Price or Fury... One fight then a title shot I reckon. ;-)

Which for the record I think would be a bad move...he should have 2-3 fights in a short space of time and get rid of the rust.

Haye did not show any signs of rust against Chisora. I do not think Haye wants to have too many non-title fights. Haye v Adamek would be a good fight as would Haye v Banks. Haye will not fight Price as he has nothing to gain beating him. If Haye fought Fury that would be huge!
