The first 5 rounds, Canelo won 4 of the 5- with about 2 of them REALLY close. In round 2 and 4, Mayweather didn't land a meaningful shot.
Round 5 was CLEARLY a Canelo Round. What in the world were the other judges watching??
:confused::confused::confused:
Are we "giving" Mayweather rounds like how we "gave" Sugar Ray Leonard rounds, and to some extent Ali?
I know you have to take the title- but the first 5 rounds were 4 to 1 for Canelo. At least.
You may as well leave this site now buddy, as no one will ever take you serious again.
With all due respect to you,
you did seem to have some knowledge of boxing but this proves you know fuck all.
I struggled to give Canelo the only round I did give him, round 11.

tells me she was under a lot of pressure after saturday night, and she is in her 60s after all
I'm not sure it necessarily proves anything either way about the validity of her scoring

She's obviously quit because of the backlash of her score card and the backlash was right probably the worst score card I've seen ever.

yep, the people shouting loudest are the people who disagree with her score card
what does her quitting prove?

It's got to say that she knows she's 100% wrong why else would she quit she got 8k for watching a fight nice work if you can get it

i dont think it does
shes come out and said she sticks by her decision
she is in her 60s, lots of people are slagging her off, it suggests to me that she feels that she has had enough
boxing is a sport that is totally subjective and a judge will always be under the spotlight, the vast majority of people will always disagree with your score card whether or not you get the winner right

I don't accept the ko loss to Marquez in their FOURTH FIGHT, with Marquez juiced up on Angel Heredia (the banned in the USA and Olympics for LIFE strength and conditioning coach) special juices and elixirs.
That fight was closer than what people saw and what the judges tallied... I'm closer to the CJ Ross score at this point. For real!
:vd: yeah... I'm sure that you're completely unbiased and can look at things pragmatically and objectively.

I think she got more than that. You're forgetting the 20k Oscar gave her for 6 rounds.

All joking aside do you think Oscar would go that low I know him and floyd dislike each other and I also know boxing is as corrupt as hell

You're right man, it was probably at least $30k.

Now, now, now... there is no need for the abuse.

Re: Mayweather vs. Canelo REWATCH- CJ Ross may have a point.
Maybe you watched the first Mayweather-Castillo match by mistake?

I think if anything it's completely the opposite, people give sympathy rounds to guys for being competitive with Mayweather. In defence of the blind lady judge, a lot of people in the RBR thread on this forum did exactly this. I had it completely the opposite after 5, only giving Canelo 1 round and then only the 12th after that.
I think even giving Alvarez 1 round in this fight is giving him a round out of sympathy.
