He fought a prime Corrales and Castillo. He wanted to fight Shane way back when...but Shane refused...that is a FACT. Arguing resumes is tricky. Floyd is in a position where he has freedom about who he fights...that is a position ANY fighter would love to be in. He earned that. He just fought a young, upcoming superstar that was the bigger man...a fight A LOT of people thought would be competitive. And please lets not forget that he offered Pac the fight a few years back...but Pac refused because of drug testing.

1. I never asked for everyone who beat an elite prime fighter. Floyd has beaten several elite prime fighters.

I asked for a guy who you feel has consistently fought better opposition than Floyd.

2. Vegas odds are irrelevant. Why? Because they don't speak to how shitty Floyd's opposition is, they speak to how highly regarded Floyd Mayweather is.

Name me a fighter at 154 or below RIGHT NOW that Floyd would be an underdog against?

So Floyd sucks because oddsmakers think he'll beat the guys he's matched against?

I've seen a lot of crazy arguments in my many years of posting on boxing/MMA boards, but I've NEVER seen a guy use sportsbook odds to slag a guy's overall opposition. That's a new one on me.

Yeah true, and I think that's been made evident by the fact that Floyd has won the same WBC WW belt four times and hasn't defended it once.

Beat Baldomir for it, dropped it.

Beat Hatton for it, dropped it.

Beat Ortiz for it, dropped it.

Now he's beaten Guerrero for it and dropped it.

Both Lara and GGG at 154 would be more competitive then the above and Bradley at 147. Pac was 5/4 to beat him a few years back. The prime elite fighters he has beaten is Hatton and Castillo. Im also hard pushed to call either elite but Im sure a lot of people will.

Again I have no problem with this. But he is willing to fight at light middle, first time 6 years ago. So why not fight GGG or Martinez or Lara at light middle?

I like Hatton but can you call him elite? He lost to pac and floyd and his best win is probably a contraversial win over Kosta Tszyu. Other then that he beat an old Castillo and Paulie. Froch beat Taylor, Dirrel, Abraham, Kesseler, Groves, Pascal, Bute. I suppose you can say some of these were washed up and some were contreversial. Both are borderline calls for me and wouldnt argue either way.
