Khan vs Broner would be more interesting.
Truthfully Khan v anyone is exciting because he is one punch away from a knock out.
Re: Khan signs on to fight Floyd
This fight intrigues me, I can see Khan winning as he has the tools to do so. The speed, range, power, agility and I can see him lose to a technician due to unpolished skillset, bad balance, being too brave for his own good.
I think this will be a closer fight while it lasts for Mayweather than the Canelo bout could have ever been.
Re: Khan signs on to fight Floyd
Its hard to fathom just how delusional this guy is. He acts as if he's the star and calls out Floyd as if its him that originated something. I'd laugh my ass off if Floyd changed his mind. Khans also in the press calling out Manny if he cant get Floyd. And people say Broner has his head up his own ass.
Re: Khan signs on to fight Floyd
I think Khan/his people have realized he hasn't got much longer to make the big paydays. If he can't get Floyd or Manny, he'll never make as much, no matter how many times he fights, who trains him, what have you. On top of that, there's a good chance he's on the decline, and could easily lose to just about anyone that would be seen as a legitimate path to Floyd imo. Why else has he done dick all since losing to Garcia, he couldn't have been terribly invested in becoming a better fighter or proving anything. Can't blame Khan for wanting to cash out I guess, I'm just surprised how many people see this as a good fight.

Please don't tell me you're serious?

So true - And it's all on Mayweather to shine.
Re: Khan signs on to fight Floyd
If it happens, it'll be Mayweather's 1st legitimate KO in 7 years RE 2007 Hatton fight.
(unless you fellas count the Ortiz cheap shots in 2011)

I count the Ortiz KO as he brought it on himself.
Therefore it does not count. Hatton also knocked himself out with his stupidity after the point deduction.

Since losing to Garica he changed trainers, which meant he had to set up shop in a different part of the world, and had two comeback fights. He was then all set for Alexander last December, which would have been his next "big" title fight.
He then became the front runner for Floyd so was pulled out of that fight. No fighter on earth can make more than they will as a Floyd opponent. So who would have done different? Nobody. Khan and Floyd are basically both promoted by Golden Boy, so it's not like they don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
Khan's the last person that can be accused of lacking ambition. It's not his fault Floyd picked him.

He was opening a Gym in Dubai. The press asked about the Mayweather fight, he said - "I've signed the contract, we are waiting on Floyd."
He was then asked if he'd consider a Pacquiao fight in Dubai, he said - "Yes, it's a business, we're friends, we respect each other but I'd definitely consider the fight. I'm sure he would as well, he has a big following here."
How is that being delusional or even remotely disrespectful? He wasn't "calling Pac out," that's just the moronic headline the pathetic boxing sites put on it. Content. Context. Source.
