Give the guy some credit? You're the one that can't accept Haye was Wlad's biggest payday and still most high profile victory to date.
Yes Wlad sold 50,000 tickets against Chambers but did HBO buy the fight? Was it PPV in Britain? Was it sold to hundreds of countries around the world?
TV money!!! Why do you think Floyd makes $50m a fight and Wlad $5m?
Wlad will be loved by Germans as much as our Frank is over here for fighting on mainstream TV long after Floyd has spent his money and retired.
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
Honestly, Haye's ridiculous circumstances regarding the injuries prior to the Klitschko matches and recently prior to the Fury one are imo legit, just unfortunate and yes, rather disappointing!
But who the hell would really bet against David Haye in a Fury fight! Give THAT guy some credit. Fury has Haye's stupidity to thank in reality for him still being relevant in championship boxing for the immediate future. Had that fight gone ahead, Tyson would have gone the way of the dodo!!
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
I don't believe Fury should give Chisora a rematch just yet.... Fury should keep his eyes on the title and the next steps. Fighting Chisora again will win him nothing and he risks more than Chisora...
Chisora, if I were Tyson Fury, would be better off finding another path to a title. Cuz it won't be through me.

Since 2007 Haye has had one foot out the door with regard to retiring. He should just do so already... he has already tarnished his image with his lack of fight spirit.
Re: Rumble in the Jungle II - Frank Warren's Big Idea - Chisora v Wlad
David Haye has been a part time fighter for a long time, if he just fought regularly he would more than likely be the 2nd best heavyweight with Vitali retired and Wlad being #1.
It's a real shame because Haye has/had talent, he just never capitalized on it

Okay, I know at first look the idea of Chisora v Klitschko again may not be a particularly appetizing match up. Nonetheless, Chisora did pick up a few rounds against Vitali, and
Klitschko has often been said to be ever so slightly chinnier than Vitali. First off Chisora needs to get through Rudenko next month, and possibly past Tyson Fury too, who beat him in their last meeting. That is two big if's right there, however, it is the 40th anniversary angle on the rumble in the jungle that is really interesting.
While the matchup isn't great, I still think taking two heavyweights out of their comfort zone into the sticky heat of an African jungle city still has that magical aspect that will bring people in. I never buy PPV's, frankly, I rarely think a fight is worth paying above what I already pay for my sports channels. However, Wlad v Chisora in a jungle city in Africa, I'll shell out good money for that. I think Wlad would still win, but the heat, humidity and unusual circumstances should be enough of a wildcard to make it interesting. As an idea, this one definitely has legs.
Lol, slightly.
