Re: Brook V Porter... Time is running out!
Some of you seem to have missed the bit where Kell Brook rematched Jones and wiped the floor with him in 8 rounds. This would suggest that a) Brook didn't shit his pants about stepping back into the deep end and b) he proved he was in a totally different class.
Shawn Porter draws with the "lightweight" Julio Diaz, then outpoints him in the rematch and then stops Paulie which makes him the next best thing since sliced bread.
Amir Khan outpoints Julio Diaz and stops Paulie which makes him toilet.

Where the fuck have you been anyway?

2 points. 1 you are missing the match where Porter wiped the floor with Alexander. 2 I hardly call a rematch with Carson jones, who was very lucky to get a draw with Dean Byrne, stepping in the deep end.
Thirdly Amir Khan did not stop Paulie. :)
Re: Brook V Porter... Time is running out!
"Deep end" was a quote from a comment made in this thread. If Brook was the shitty pants some of you think he wouldn't have rematched someone that gave him such a tough night.

Before the Alexander fight was made the Jones camp had pushed for a rematch because it was such a close fight. Brook said he'd give Jones a rematch but he had a world title shot against Alexander instead. Then he spent the next six months repeatedly bottling out of fighting Alexander and that fight was called off as he was never going to get in the ring for it. At that point Hearn can hardly take a step backwards even from Jones and put him in with some cab driver. He had to make the rematch and Brook had to take it.

Alexander pulled out of one of the dates injured too. I guess Brook was lucky Alexander revealed he shit his pants before Brook could that time?
The Carson Jones rematch was a 10 round non-title undercard fight. So Eddie had to make that fight and Kell had to be forced into it?
Behave Kirkland.
Your new hero Porter and Richard Schaefer have already stated they're not going to England even if the fight goes to purse bids. So unless Porter dumps the belt for a bigger money opportunity, which is highly unlikely, Brook already knows he's going to the states. Now if that fight gets signed and Brook pulls out maybe he is a shitty pants :)
