Sorry , am I missing the sarcasm here? The only interesting thing would be to see how much Smith can earn for this. As a person, I like Smith a lot, but as a fighter , he is not anywhere near this league.
Now what would be interesting is if Ward fought CALLUM SMITH! Bit early for him, but I can't help thinking he'd do better than his older brother.
Re: Andre ward back June 20th
Sanchez Ramirez would be a good comeback opponent :)

You mean Zurdo Ramirez?
C'mon
Ward would catch a manslaughter case.
Then he'll be gone another year and a half...lol

Is better than Smith or Periban. Who do you suggest?
Zurdo is still a prospect.
Smith and Periban would be a better choice.

Periban got blasted out in 3 rounds by DeGale and Smith already got beaten clearly by Abraham in the rematch :-\ Sanchez is still young, but has a glossy record with a few decent names. Periban would get slaughtered worse than Ramirez :p
Re: Andre ward back June 20th
There is/was a big gulf between Ward and everyone else in the division. I don't see why he shouldn't hop right back into the mix, as he should be preparing to move up to 175 anyways imo, unless GGG expresses some intent to move up to fight him I guess.
Saying that, it's hard to think of reasonable opponents at 168 who would be available, and that he hasn't already clearly beaten.
