I don’t really think any of these are big upsets. I think it was more the one sided-ness of the underdogs victory that was most shocking.
I think the Mayweather – Hernandez is interesting in that, amazing to think that at the time Hernandez was a strong favourite to win that fight. Probably the only time in Floyd's career that he entered the ring an underdog.

O – Right, yeah son. Well unless you are above 70 years of age. I highly doubt that you picked Ali to beat Liston, never mind foreman

I picked Jess Willard over Jack Johnson, son. @denilson200
Re: Fights in which you KNEW the underdog would win.
Eubank - Benn I. Gutted at the result but expected it
And Hamed v Barrera
Hamed had one plan and that was to take him out in 2-3 rounds. Barrera ? Really ?
Re: Fights in which you KNEW the underdog would win.
Hamed v Barrera sticks out for me too. I always thought Hamed was a bit overrated as is usual with Brit fighters. I also remember going for Calzaghe v Lacy.
with hindsight , it's hard to imagine that Barrera and Calzaghe were Underdogs.
Re: Fights in which you KNEW the underdog would win.
Calzaghe-Lacy is a good one already mentioned.
We already KNEW Calzaghe had a good chin, we knew he had solid technique, we knew he could punch when he wanted to, we knew he was a winner, we knew he was fighting at home .... and they hyped this bloke up as the second coming of Mike Tyson. Lacy had a good left hook, but he hadn't really fought anyone outside America, he had never been in trouble and he looked tailor made for Calzaghe.
I was right!
Re: Fights in which you KNEW the underdog would win.
Years and years before they fought, when Hamed was still on the way up, I told everyone in the pub that there was this Mexican kid called Marco Antonio Barrera who would bash him up.
And there were witnesses to that conversation!

Maidana over Broner. Wrong style, only Floyd can lean back against the ropes & use that elbow for defense. I felt Adrian used his legs to move, not stick and move. And as soon as he settles Marcos would work him over.
